| didn’t know where it was. | had forgotten all about it.

“It must be in the room.. somewhere.” | mumbled as | attempted to look for it. He scratched his temple and said,

| spent the next five minutes searching for it while he stayed where he was. | could feel the irritation bubbling

inside of him as | searched for it.

Finally, | tossed the sheets and saw it under them. Holding it in front of me, | went towards him.

“Open your messages” He ordered, and my heart skipped a beat. | had not deleted my messages with Theo.

What if he saw them? He would skinalive.

| could guess he was already thinking | had tried to run away for the second time. But how could | not remember

to delete it myself?

Also, his body language didn’t makefeel that he was in the mood to listen. | nodded and tapped on the

message icon. “Read the message | had sent | gulped and tapped on the message.

“Read it aloud,” He said when | stayed silent.

“Stay in the mansion, | read, and he ordered.

“I only left the mansion when Arthur accompaniedoutside, to the pack house. | didn’t even know they all

stayed at a different location or where it was. But Eros didn’t seem pleased with it.

“Did you force him to take you there? | know he’s a sweet guy, se he never really says no to anyone.”

“No, in fact, | told him that you would not like it. But he insisted that | should calong since now | am the

member of the pack. Eros let out a sigh. “Elder Ruth was not happy with my decision. | had to spend a lot of time

to appease her and | promised her that you would not letdown.”

| fidgeted with my fingers “I know nobody likeshere or wants me. And when | think of going away, you don’t

like it either.”

| simply nodded, and looked away.

“Why didn’t you reply?” He asked

| furrowed my eyebrows. “Reply to what?”

Eros raised his finger and began counting, “One; you went to that club and almost got drugged and kidnapped.
