Chapter 563 Secret Meetings With Amanda?
Casey was left standing alone, not expecting Elias to be so furious. Just the thought of him
discovering the truth and possibly breaking down made her feel guilty, but it was still the
truth, and he would have to know about it sooner or later.
Symeon clearly wouldn’t let go of this, plus she didn’t know what Amanda and Symeon
were planning or why they had to wait to confess everything. Could it be that Amanda
wanted to ruin Elias’ career and then run away with Symeon? If that was really the case,

After work, Casey bought groceries and went home.
As soon as she arrived downstairs, she was stunned by the scene before her. Symeon was
holding Dulcie’s little hand as they stood on the ground floor as if they were both waiting
for her return.

“Dulcie, why are you here?”
“Dad is going to a party, so he took me here to find you. I have begged him for a long
time.”
Casey had been in a bad mood all day, but seeing her daughter now seemed to lighten it
up a bit.
She touched Dulcie’s face and then looked up at the man still standing where he was. “You
can go about your business. Dulcie can stay here tonight.”

collaboration.”
“Collaboration? What do you mean?” Casey couldn’t help but frown. It seemed like this

Symeon spoke slowly, “If I am occupied, I can leave Dulcie with you and also pay you a

She was stunned for a while but then laughed. “You’re deliberately trying to disgust me.
You know I’m willing to do it even if you don’t pay me, so that’s unnecessary.”
“It’s because I don’t want to have any personal relationship with you. Taking care of Dulcie
is my responsibility, not yours.”
The man was quite heartless, but Casey didn’t want to lose her temper in front of Dulcie,
so she controlled. herself. “You can go about your business. I’ll take Dulcie home.”
“Miss Casey, I’m hungry.”
As soon as Casey heard Dulcie’s voice, her heart softened a bit again.
Casey smiled. “Alright, I’ll make something delicious for you later. How about your favorite
fried chicken. wings?”
“Okay!”

Symeon looked at the mother-and-daughter pair as they turned and left, unable to help a
smile. If things continued like this, Dulcie might really recognize Casey as her mother, and
it wouldn’t be easy to separate them then.
With a helpless sigh, he turned and left.
Symeon knew that Elias would also be at the dinner party he attended tonight but had no
intention of interacting with the latter. Dulcie was still at Casey’s house, so he planned to
stay for only half an hour, greet everyone, and then leave.

Symeon’s face changed slightly as soon as Elias finished speaking. “She works for you?”
Casey hadn’t said Winters Enterprise when he asked where she worked. Had she lied to
him?
“You don’t even know that? How dare you claim you like her? You don’t care about your
girlfriend.”
“Who told you that she is my girlfriend? Mind your business and take care of Amanda
instead. No longer in the mood for idle talk, Symeon put down his wine and then turned to
leave.
Watching Symeon’s retreating back, Elias suddenly felt that Casey’s name sounded
familiar, as if he had heard it before. Where had it been again? He couldn’t remember it.
In the evening, Symeon arrived at the residential area where Casey lived, took the
elevator to the door, and pressed the doorbell. After a while, she came to open the door.
When she saw him standing outside the door, she was stunned for a moment before
saying, “Dulcie is watching TV over there. You can pick her up later since she just finished
her meal.”
The man nodded and then walked into the house.
Looking at the cramped interior, he remembered what Elias had said. He couldn’t
understand why Casey wanted to work at Winters Enterprise. Could it be that she wanted
to break up Elias and Amanda?
“Why are you working at Winters Enterprise?”
Casey hesitated for a moment. “How did you know about it? Who told you that?”
“Never mind who told me. I’ll find out sooner or later anyway. I just want to know why
you’re working there. Was it to get close to Elias? To make Elias and Amanda split up and

“I don’t need you to worry about it. I have my own plans!” Casey felt that he, as well as
Amanda, was hypocritical. These two were obviously up to something, yet they were still
pretending.
“Casey, you’re playing with fire. If Elias finds out about your intentions, he will destroy
you. He will never allow anyone to take Amanda away.”;
Casey laughed, “Since you know that already, why did you still have secret meetings with
Amanda? Do you really think that your affair will never be discovered? When will you two
finally leave Elias alone?”
“Having secret meetings with Amanda? What are you talking about?”
“Why won’t you admit to it? Sorry, I saw everything, and I only believe what I have seen!”
He burst into laughter, his anger evident. “What did you see? Did you catch me in bed
with her, or did you perceive something entirely different? On what grounds do you have
the audacity to make unfounded. accusations?”
There was no romantic involvement between him and Amanda. What had Casey
misconstrued?
“That’s enough. I need not elaborate further on the events that transpired in the study.”
“The study?” Symeon swiftly went through his memories of his past encounters with
