Chapter 43 Elias Deliberately Made Things Difficult
Meanwhile, Amanda was busy washing vegetables in the kitchen when she vaguely heard
her son talking to someone.
After she turned off the tap and walked to the living room, she asked, “Aiden Bailey, who
are you talking to? Did I get a call?”
“Nope.” The child shook his head. “I was talking to myself.”

things. She eventually turned around and went back to the kitchen with a look of

call?”

She cocked her head and smiled as she continued washing the vegetables.
Simon also smiled when he suddenly remembered something. “By the way, I got a case
involving the son of a rich wealthy household. He committed indecent assault. Do you
want to take it? I’m a little too busy to handle it, so I’ll let you do it if you can.”
Amanda immediately agreed without hesitation. “Sure! It is my honor to help my boss.”
Simon had helped her too much, and he had taken care of her and her child for the past

boy was up to.
In the following days. Amanda and Aiden gradually got used to living in the villa.

time talking about a case with a beautiful lawyer.”
Amanda didn’t answer him. She was tempted to just turn around and walk away.

about work another day, or you can talk now but in swimwear.”
He was intentionally making things hard for her because of the deep grudge he held
against her.

Shocked, Amanda stared wide-eyed at Elias.

She had no comeback to that. It took her all her might to rein in her emotions.
