Chapter 569: Scheming and Planning
Competition Ground, Capital.
"Bang!"
A bullet grazed past Erina's hair once again and hit the One Eyed Wolf right at the center of its head and it immediately fell to the ground losing its life and crashed right in front of Erina.
'This b*stard!' Erina smiled at Axel while hiding her anger. She really wanted to kill him. This guy had been doing it for a while and if it went on like this, she would be probably bald by the end of the competition.
They had actually teamed up in order to deal with the situation at the hand as they lacked members right now. So, most of the Academy had done the same and in the end, Arcane, Ocien, Ethera and Vienna had ended up together.
But even with four Academies together they could barely make up the number to reach even two digits.
And since the start of the hunt, people were really surprised to see the teamwork between Axel and Erina. The two really had trust in each other. After all, the way they were making close attacks was really dangerous. You just needed to move an inch and the attack would end up hitting you instead of the enemy. What was even more surprising that they kept smiling at each other even if the attacks somehow managed to graze past them.
It was like they were trying to console each other that it was fine.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe sight truly left people in confusion. They began to wonder if the two knew each other from before. As for the people in the outside world, they were literally going crazy while shipping the two together as perfect couple.

Scarlet House, Trinity.
"Are you seeing it, mother?" Travis said with a smile while looking at the T.V. which was currently showing the competition broadcast. "She is getting out of control."
The woman who calmly sat on the couch with a glass of wine in her hand smiled while looking at the broadcast, "Don't worry as long as we have him in our control, nothing else matters." New chapters are published on ɴo(v)elFɪre.net
"She will end up being use as a pawn in the end, that is her fate.." She further added with a smile and then took a seep from her glass.
"I don't understand why don't we just kill them? Especially Wilson. He has left the family and is out their on his own. Isn't this our best opportunity?" Travis suddenly asked with a frown. He really wanted to kill Wilson but for some reason her mother was against it.
"Don't be an idiot. What do you think is holding back that man, right now?" She suddenly asked looking at Travis.
"Isn't it his wife?" Travis said after thinking a bit.
"Then do you think he values his wife more than his son?" She further asked with while looking at him.
"That's hard to say.." Travis said as creases appeared on his forehead.
"It is obviously hard for someone like him to decide. But do you think his wife will accept her safety at the cost of her son's life." She shook her head, that was never going to happen. "That man wouldn't think a second before killing the two of us if we make a move on either of his child."
"Then are we going to leave the two alive?" He asked with a displeased face.
"No, obviously not," She shook her head. "We just need to get you to the throne of the Lord. Once that is done, nothing will trouble us anymore and we will remove every pest from our way."
"But that man isn't going to let that happen. If Wilson is going to leave, he will definitely to try to pass the throne to his daughter." Travis frowned even harder once the matter was brought up. The man would never consider him for that position at any cost.
"Don't worry, its going to be very easy. I have it all under my control." She smiled while looking at the T.V. which was currently showing Erina in it.

Meeting Hall, Trinity.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMax sat on his seat while overlooking the crowd. Some people didn't seem happy with his behavior while some were just having fun and enjoying the drama. There were also those who didn't seem to be interested in any of it.
"Since there is no one with anymore problem, I would like to start the discussion here." Max suddenly stood up and looked at the crowd.
"I am sure you people are aware why we have gathered here today, so I won't be explaining it you again." He further said and then decided to ask for some basic data of people gather around here. He had to know his own strength first to plan his actions.
"Then who is the person tasked with providing all the logistics. Please come up on the stage here." Max said looking at the crowd and soon two elderly looking people got up and walked up to the stage.
There was obviously people who were tasked with providing them with all kind of required information to plan their actions. After all without correct and accurate information it was impossible to do anything.
It wouldn't be a mission but a suicide mission if they just went knocking at their door without anything in their hand.
Currently, there were only three people aside from Max on the stage. Argus, Ragnar and Bell. Synthia had been thrown out and Rihanna seemed to have gone after her.
"I hope what happened earlier won't affect our cooperation here," Max said looking at them and the three nodded.
No one here was holding deep grudges as Argus had already became the peacemaker between them. The other two guys obviously knew that Synthia had indeed gone overboard with her actions today and hence didn't pursue the matter further. But there faces didn't look good. After all, no matter how one put it forward, they had indeed tasted a defeated and then Max had insulted Synthia beyond extreme and even if it was her fault, she was still there friend. Hence it didn't sit well with them.
"Why does this list not have any names of Supreme Tier Mages?" Max asked looking at the elderly man who was providing them with all kind of information.
"Well, you don't qualify to command a Supreme. They will appear when they need to." The man replied in simple words.
'It makes sense that they have their pride but to think I can't command any of them…' Max muttered inwardly. This seemed to be thwarting his plans. If he had a Supreme Tier at his direct command, it would really make things easier. Now this was turning a bit troubling.
"Fine, I guess we have no option here then," Max said with a sigh before looking at Argus and the other two fellow, it was time to see if these guys had any brain in their head unlike Synthia, "What do you guys think should be our first move?"
