The next day when I heard the howl that there was a guest from the werewolf guarding the perimeter, I

was in walking towards the window to stare when I saw a silver SUV shortly approaching the palace ‘If

the guards let that car in, then they recognise the person driving it, but who?’ I thought confusedly as I

continued to stare at the vehicle as it continued to approach the palace where we lived.

And I shouldn’t have been surprised when the car stopped in front of the lobby and a couple got out to

show that they were Melissa and Drake who alighted from the four-wheeler.

Letting out a long sigh while smiling and shaking my head, I also knew that maybe Melissa had an

instinct about what was going on, so they were here at this time.

“Well… Drake and Melissa are coming?” Harry’s voice standing next to me made me wake up from my

reverie and look over while nodding my head to confirm it.

“Did they call to come visit?” I asked the Beta who was standing next to me.

Harry shook his head as he answered me “No, yesterday as far as I know we only heard about the

child who was hot for days explaining her 7th birthday but there was no info that they would be here”

He said and made me understand that it was true that it seemed like Melissa was the cause of their

sudden arrival.

However, the question is what made the white witch come here so soon? What caused her or rather,

what did she know that led her to come here so quickly?

“Let’s welcome them,” I said softly as I walked out towards the guests who were unloading their

luggage from the vehicle that brought them.

Approaching the lobby, I looked at the woman in front of me who was running dangerously small which

made me quicken my footsteps to stop her from running so that she could put herself in danger.

Gwen, my mate, raised her head in shock as my hand held hers to stop her hurried footsteps “Be

careful, dear, you could get hurt” I said softly and she just gave me her very cute smile that always

made me weak because of her.

Da mn, she knows I’m weak against her, so there’s no way I’d get angry at anything she does, even if I

know it could endanger

her health.

“Melissa came, did you invite her?” She asked happily as we started walking hand in hand with slower

footsteps.

I shook my head “They are here because of you” I replied briefly without élaborating and only gave

information as if it was because of her pregnancy, not the problem with the Demon, because I was also

uncertain about why they came here.

But seeing her nod with a smile still on her face, it seemed that she didn’t realise what I was thinking

“I’m glad, Melissa can help me with my pregnancy” She said excitedly and I smiled too before giving a

loving peck to my mate who was surprised before smiling in acceptance.

“And Drake jr also came with them” I added which made my mate even more happy, yes, Drake named

his son Drake Jr., it was all Melissa who gave it, saying that she was not good with names, at first

everyone just shook their heads at the uncreativity that the mother did to her first son, but in time

everyone finally accepted and did not make fun of her for it

anymore.

“Melissa!!!”

The white witch lifted her head after my mate called her name, and they let out a small shout of joy

before hugging like a true friend.

Yes, I know that since the things that happened to them, Gwen and Melissa have become closer, like

non-blood sisters.

Remembering how I lied to my mate by saying that Melissa was the one I loved at that time, I never

women, who were our mates started talking about things related to pregnancy.

Drake jr. who was silent at the back made me look back at him as he continued to stare at my mate

respectfully towards me. Drake raised his son well, I thought proudly at the manners shown by this 7

year old boy in front of me.

“Greetings, king Alpha” He said politely and I just put my hand on his head “I’m just amazed that even

in her pregnancy, the queen always looks beautiful” The answer from the little boy in front of me made

me raise my eyebrows before looking at his father who could only smile with a shrug.

Seeing his son, Drake Jr, makes me think that he could be a great guardian for my future daughter.

Is that why the child seems to admire my mate?
