Chapter 854

On Sunday morning. Lewis came over early and gave Wendy two tickets for a big Tinseltown sci–li movie that had

just hit the cinemas.

“If you’re feeling bored, you can take Aster to the movies.”

This movie was quite popular recently. During weekends, the theaters for that movie were always packed. Wendy

had wanted to watch the movie with someone before, but she was unable to get tickets.

“Fantastic!” She happily agreed and leaned down to hug Aster and give him a kiss. “Come have fun with Godma

later! I’ll take you to eat

the best food there is!”

Although Larissa was worried about Wendy’s health, she also hoped that her friend could go out and do something

to distract hersell.

While Aster was looking for his bag

ag in his

room, Larissa quickly grabbed her son and instructed him to take note of several things.

“Godma’s not feeling very good. Be a good boy when going out with her, walk properly, and don’t run. Don’t jump

on Godma, and watch over her. Don’t let her eat random things. She cannot eat cold or spicy foods. She can’t eat

too many sweet things as we.. Do you

understand?”

Aster nodded obediently. “Got it?’

Larissa palled his head and helped him put his phone into his little hag. “Trot me when you’ve reached the mall Let

me know when you’ve

arrived home. Il there’s anything, you must call me.”

Just like Larissa instructed, Aster texted the moment they reached the mall. He also reported live all the places he

and Wendy had gone to, what they bought what they ate in a very detailed manner.

Larissa’s phone was on the table. It vibrated every other minute and naturally made Lewis notice it.

“Who is it?” he asked.

“Aster.”

Larissa un locked her phone and glanced through the photos her son had just sent then she locked her phone again,

“I got him to watch Wendy for me. He’s quile responsible.” She chuckled as she spoke.

“Wendy seems to be in a good mood,” Lewis sald, ‘She doesn’t look like someone who just got broken up with.” He

had specially bought movie tickets for Wendy because he hoped that she could be distracted from her sadness. But

Wendy’s actions surprised Lew’s. I was to

the point he wondered if he was being extra.

“She’s a poser. She looks strong on the outside, but is actually very fragile on the inside.” Larissa’s smile gradually

faded away as she

sighed softly in billerness.

“If you want to take care of Wendy, then you can’t attend the business trip on the day after tomorrow? Lewis asked

alter he remembered

this matter.

This business trip was planned half a month ago. They were going to meet a major client in Egron. Originally,

Larissa was not supposed to

join in on this matter.

But since the presidential office had undergone such a big change, with the one originally in charge of this having

cull, Gary and Lewis discussed among themselves and decided to bring Larissa with them. Apart from lamillarizing

lower and lower, he smiled more. But his voice was stil stern as he pretended to be stern. “Think about how you

want to make it up to me.”

Larissa’s eyes sparkled as she automatically responded. “By linding you a wile?”

Lewis‘ face darsened at once. “I think you really want to go on blind dates.” He laughed coldly.

Larissa denied it at once. “Nope! I don’t wanna!” Then she apologized humbly. “I’m sorry, man, I was wrong. I won’t

bring this up aga

Please spare me

Lewis still kept his flat face as he tapped on the table. “Enough, Keep working.”
