Seeing his confused and irritated look, Margaret said, "Tell me about it then. What was she doing at the time, and what were you doing?

What did the two of you talk about? I'll analyze the situation and see if you did or said anything wrong to make her unhappy."

Margaret’s words shocked Ralph, who shifted slightly to the side and looked at his mother in disbelief. "Mom! You're kidding me, aren't you?

"What? Are you calling me an old woman?” Displeased, Margaret threw him a sidelong glance and asked.

"That’s hard to say.” Margaret seemed confident. "You don’t understand this. We're both women, and I'd understand her better than you, you

silly boy. Come on, are you going to tell me? I'm leaving if you're not going to say anything. By then, you can think about it yourself!"

At this point in the story, Margaret raised her brow. "So you went to reprimand her for it?"

"I did not!" Ralph shook his head and continued, "You think I should've done that too, don't you? But

the man left as soon as I entered through the door, so they were obviously guilty of doing something

wrong! I just reminded her a little about her identity and asked her who the man was. Then, her

expression turned dark because of that!"

"You deserve it!" Margaret scoffed. "She was already being merciful by not beating you up on the spot."

Ralph was stunned for a moment, unable to believe that his mother had just said those words, before

he whined, "Mom! How could you say that? I’m your son!"

Margaret threw him a sideways glance, shaking her head as she sighed." She'd get angry at you when you accuse her of such a thing. Don't

you remember who she is?"

arranged marriage for the mutual benefit of the two parties. Do you understand that? The both of you haven't gotten married yet, but you’re
