Chapter 910 "She hitwithout apologizing, so why should she apologize to you? Do you think you're more special than me?" Lizetta just stared, speechless. Cassius was equally struck dumb, his silence punctuated only by his incredulous, disdainful gaze.

Remington narrowed his eyes and spoke in a low voice. "I had dinner with your old man yesterday. He mentioned that the Sterling Group's been a bit shaky lately, lots of restless folks. Your big brother seems to be under a lot of pressure. Maybe I should give him a call, suggest that you go back and lend a hand?" Cassius was happily working as an actor, far removed from any interest in the family business. Besides, his big brother was his half-brother, and Cassius had a lot of respect for him, wanting no part in any sibling rivalry.

If he did return to Sterling Group, he'd likely get dragged into corporate battles and possibly end up butting heads with his brother. That was the last thing Cassius wanted. His passion for the entertainment industry was partly to avoid such conflicts.

Remington, with his sway among the older folks, could easily make things happen. If he suggested it, Cassius's father might just cknocking with a cane, insisting that he join the firm. So, as soon as Remington brought it up, Cassius quickly straightened up, clasped his hands together, and said, "Remi, I was wrong." Remington raised an eyebrow. "Who should you be apologizing to?" Cassius hurriedly turned to Lizetta, offering a sheepish grin. "Lizetta, I misspoke earlier. You know my mouth runs off sometimes. How about this, you can hitagain to even it out?" Cassius was nothing if not adaptable, offering the other cheek to Lizetta.

Lizetta looked at him with a hint of amusement and made a motion as if to raise her hand.

Cassius flinched, pulling back, but Lizetta just lowered her hand. "You really are quite the actor, aren't you?" Cassius chuckled awkwardly. "Remi's still wet. Since Yolanda's okay, you should take him for a shower and get him sdry clothes." He threw a pleading look at Remington. Cassius reallywant to be grilled by Lizetta any longer. When did he realize she was so tenacious and hard to deal with? Seeing Cassius's swollen forehead and pale face, Remington decided to help his buddy out. He turned his head and sneezed as if on cue.

Lizetta immediately looked at him with concern. "Are you okay? Con, let's get you warmed up with a hot shower." She stood up, pulling Remington along towards the stairs.

After all, he had jumped into the pool to help her.

Remington let Lizetta lead him, watching her worried expression, and couldn't help but smile. Happiness washed over him again.

"The guest room is right across from Yolanda's on the second floor Feel free to use it," Cassius called after them, relieved, yet still reminding them. He prided himself on being a loyal friend, even if Remi was a bit toet focused on romance lately. Here he still Wing ways to give Remi a chance. Wasn't that admirable?

As Lizetta led Remington up the staircase, Cassius's voice stopped her. She turned back with a warning look. "Don't bother Yoli until she's sobered up!" What if Yolanda got upset again and did something drastic?

Cassius could only roll his eyes. As if he'd want to go near her. That wild woman once/she was back to her E senses, he'd have words with her!
