Rise of The Anti God

Luna was holding in her rage to not accidentally kill Damien since this was the first time someone touched her so intimately, especially her lips, which had never felt the warmth of someone else's touch.

She had never even let any gods come near the range of her aura, let alone touch her little finger. But this mortal here not only touched her but also took advantage of her lips while she was lying in a vulnerable state and busy with something else.

She had regained more memories and thus was more angry and frustrated at her own state after falling down from such a high position of power and status to the point even a mortal bullied her.

But instead of feeling uncomfortable after having her lips touched like that, she was strangely feeling a warm sensation in her chest. This was what made her even angrier since it was a reaction she could not comprehend or understand why it was taking place.

How could a mortal make her feel like this?

"Luna, that's enough! Master is already severely injured, fighting to not only protect himself but also to protect your ass while you were down. You let him down now, or I won't be polite, hmph!" Even if Kalypso was partially responsible for Damien ending up in this situation, she couldn't let him get bullied like this and spoke up.

Luna coldly stared at Kalypso, making her feel as if she was looking at a monstrously powerful being disguised as a divine beauty. Still, she didn't cower and stared back at Luna even if she was feeling the chills.

Luna harrumphed as she let go of Damien, making him drop on his legs and stumble onto the ground since he was quite exhausted, though his injuries had surprisingly stabilized, which he thought was due to Luna's handiwork. It seemed as if she was helping him heal while clutching his neck before.

Luna already sensed the injuries on Damien's soul and some other things as well, because of which she grudgingly decided to let him off easily this time.

This made him feel happy and sigh in relief to know that even if she changed on the outside and seemed a bit different, she still cared about him, though he had no idea if it was because she genuinely did or since she was still dependent on his soul.

Damien was still feeling a sharp stinging sensation in his soul and knew that he wouldn't even be able to use his soul energy for a while. Still, he was not feeling that dizzy anymore since Kalypso was also helping him stabilize his soul. Otherwise, he would have dropped unconscious again.

He also sensed that Valentina's injuries were healing but slowly since they were caused by a god, even if it was a weakened one. She was still in a deep slumber and knew that whenever she went into a deep sleep, she wouldn't wake up for a long while.

He also checked out Reva's condition, who was resting a few feet away from him, and saw that her soul was healing itself but gradually. He knew that Yohr could have killed her but didn't since he needed her for something.

However, this made him feel angry again as he looked at Yohr and looked at his huge monstrous body resting in an unconscious and weakened state. 

He finally realized how infinitely long the journey of the Ethereal Way was and wondered when he could at least reach the level where he wouldn't have to worry about enemies like Yohr, who almost not only killed him but his lovers as well. No…he and the others would have definitely died if not for the fact that Yohr needed his Origin Seed.

"Luna…what exactly happened to you?" Damien decided to ask the next big question now that Luna had undergone a lot of changes in different ways.

Luna slowly turned towards him and said, "What else other than getting one of my shards back?"

Damien couldn't help but smile in happiness as he said, "Wow…I am really glad you got one of the soul shards back. I never thought we would find one being hidden by a god and that too inside his soul."

Luna petulantly said, "Hmph, why do you look so happy? You must be looking forward to not having me take up the space and resources of your soul, huh?"

"Eh, what are you talking about? I am only happy that you are gaining more power and strength instead of staying in a weakened state like before. Even if you get all the shards, I don't mind if you still stay inside my soul plane," Damien said as he looked into Luna's starry black eyes that seemed as vast and profound as a universe, making one feel like there were innumerable mysteries of the universe hidden behind them.

"What are you talking about…Why would this goddess deign herself to stay inside a mortal's soul after regaining her powers?" Luna said while looking away with a peeved expression.

'Was she always this cute…' Damien couldn't help but feel fascinated by her actions while feeling relieved that her personality still seemed almost the same as before, contrary to her physical changes.

"Okay, okay. How about you tell me what kind of soul shard you got? Like the one you already had was the Shard of Essence, right? And that allowed you to manipulate anything made out of ethereal essence. So what powers does your new soul shard hold?" Damien was very curious about the abilities of her new soul shard since he already knew that each of her soul shards held parts of her powerful divine abilities.

Luna looked at Damien and narrowed her eyes as she said after a moment of silence, "I got the Shard of Absolute Command!"

"The Shard of Absolute Command?" Damien mumbled in awe since even if he didn't have a good idea of what kind of abilities it had, he was sure it was some overpowered abilities just based on how domineering it sounded and also seeing the slightly mischievous smirk on her face.
