After about a five-minute walk, which didn't feel spacious and seemed to be a route Wesley used only for his own
escape, they emerged from the passage into what appeared to be a desolate stretch of road about 500 meters
away from the Tredgold estate. At least, that's what everyone thought until they exited the tunnel and found
themselves inside a small house.
This house was a single-story building, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square feet. It looked clean, as if
someone regularly maintained it, but it lacked signs of continuous habitation.
Adler didn't feel much until he saw a family photo placed atop a cabinet.
The photo showed a mother and her son.
The woman looked gentle as she held her baby, but notably absent was the role of the husband and father.
Adler fell silent for a moment.

Sophie quickly noticed the moonlight seeping through the back door, revealing a series of messy footprints.
