Ning cringed a bit when he heard the name of the organization that had betrayed the queen.

"It was really the Shadow's Anarchy?" he asked.

"Yes," The queen said. "Those bastards dared go against my mentor's wish of bringing peace to people that needed it and instead started hurting people for money. I hate them with a burning passion."

"Umm… what would you do if there was no place to direct this passion of yours?" Ning asked.

"What?" the queen was confused.

"Say Shadow's Anarchy doesn't exist anymore, what would you do with this hate?" Ning asked.

"I… I don't know what you are asking," the queen said.

"Sigh, how do I say this…" Ning struggled to find the words.

"What is it? Just say it," the queen said.

"Well, here goes nothing then. The Shadow's Anarchy is gone. Or at least its head members are dead," Ning said.

"Wha… what?" the queen's face scrunched up in confusion at the words she had just heard. Shadow's Anarchy's head members, the people that she once thought were her family, and was now looking forward to killing were…dead?"

"If you don't want to join the organization, I understand," the queen said. "You don't have to blatantly lie about it."

"It's not a lie, they really are dead," Ning said. "Actually. They died earlier today."

To the queen's ears, the lies were getting worse. "Fine, you can go. You don't have to join the organization," the queen said with a sour face. If someone was going to make such an absurd lie to get out of the situation, then there was no point in having them join the organization.

They would instead just end up becoming a liability for them.

"Sigh, you don't believe me, do you?" Ning asked. "Let me show you."

Ning suddenly stood up and grabbed the queen's hands. In the next moment, they teleported.

When they reappeared, the queen was assaulted with a heavy smell of blood and death, bringing her memories back to the day her friends and families were killed.

Not these ones, not the ones she had made later. But her real friends and families, back when she lived on the kingdom ruled by the dictator.

The place where one man stood and inspired others to stand up alongside them to go against the regiment and free themselves from the tyrant.

So many people had fought in the war to gain their freedom. So many people had died.

The queen started shaking with fear, wondering if she had arrived back in the same place. However, she quickly calmed and collected herself before forcing herself to look at the bloody room.

Bodies were scattered all over the floor and the table. She saw the head of the man who now had blue hair. He was the one responsible for killing her master.

She saw the woman whose lower body was missing. She had died with wide eyes full of pain and fear. That was how the queen had felt when this woman had poisoned her.

Now, she felt a sensation of happiness when she saw the same on the woman's face.

The rest of the people, the ones that opposed her master, their savior, turned the organization away from what it was originally established for.

To take the organization in the direction where only a few profited while everyone else suffered.

Changing the reason for the organization's existence didn't simply cause more tragedies to appear in the world, it cause the tragedies that could be avoided to continue existing.

Ning looked towards the door to find that it was still locked. Despite the death and destruction that had taken place inside, no one had come to check it.

Perhaps the crew was too scared to barge in on the meetings of the higher-ups.

"How long has it been?" the queen asked as she checked the bodies.

"About 4, maybe 5 hours I would say," Ning said.

"Why did you kill them?" she asked.

"They killed a kid," he replied. There was nothing more to this than that.

"Someone you knew?" the queen showed a worried face.

"No, it was the prince of the Yorshan kingdom. I accidentally arrived there this morning and found that he was dead. I tracked the assassination down to here and killed them because they deserved it," the Ning said.

She realized that Ning had killed all these people for someone he didn't even know. In her heart, she knew that she had done the right thing by trying to recruit him.

Only… now the reason for the recruitment was gone.

'Not yet,' the queen thought with an angry face. She grabbed onto one of the wooden splinters belonging to the chairs and used the sharp end to stab the woman who had poisoned her directly through the eye.

"This is for trying to kill me," the queen said.

She then stabbed her through the other eye.

"This is for paralyzing me and making my life a living hell!" the queen shouted.

"And this is for all the pain you brought me," she shouted and stabbed the woman all over her chest and head.

She then went on to repeat the same thing with each of the heads she recognized. Those she couldn't recognize, she still stabbed it a few times.

Ning was glad he wasn't on the opposing side of the queen or he would end up looking like a beehive.

The queen finally stopped after a few minutes as her frustration was fully taken out on the dead bodies.

"You done?" Ning asked.

"Not yet," the queen said and kicked the head next to her like a ball. "Now I'm done."

"I hope you are somewhat satisfied with what you saw here today. You don't have to stay in the past now, being trapped by your need for vengeance," Ning said.

"Yes, you're right," the queen said. "I… my legs are fixed and now my enemies are dead. Thank you for everything you've done for me. I owe you a lot."

Ning smiled. "Let us return then."
