Chapter 357: Bundle of Joy Astrid's POV The morning sunlight streamed through the windows of the Shadowfang Packhouse, bathing the room in a golden glow, but I barely noticed.

My hands trembled as I clutched the folded piece of parchment in my lap, the Pack Doctor's words from earlier still ringing in my ears.

"You're with child, Luna." The world had tilted beneaththen, and even now, hours later, I couldn't seem to steady myself.

My heart pounded in my chest, a mix of joy and fear twisting in my stomach.

Pregnant.

I pressed a hand to my abdomen, the weight of the revelation settling overlike a heavy blanket.

I thought the morning sickness and the sudden changes inwas just caused by stress from leading the Shadowfang Pack.

I never thought that those were actually the symptoms of my pregnancy.

A soft knock on the door pulledfrom my thoughts.

"Astrid?" Killian's voice was gentle, his concern evident.

I quickly wiped at my eyes, though I wasn't sure when the tears had started falling. "Cin." He stepped inside, his tall frfilling the room. His brows furrowed as he took in my expression, and without hesitation, he crossed the space between us, kneeling in front of me.

"What's wrong?" he asked, his hands covering mine. "What did the doctor say? It's nothing serious, is it?" I looked down at him, my throat tightening. "Killian... I..." The words stuck, and I shook my head, a fresh wave of emotion crashing over me.

He waited patiently, his grip steady and reassuring. "Whatever it is, we'll face it together," he said softly. Taking a deep breath, I placed a hand over his and guided it to my stomach. "I'm pregnant," I whispered.

His eyes widened, the weight of my words sinking in. For a moment, he said nothing, his expression unreadable. Then, a smile broke across his face, one so full of joy and wonder that it made my heart ache.

"Astrid," he breathed, his voice filled with awe. "We're going to have another child?" I nodded, tears slipping down my cheeks. "But Killian... what if I can't do this? What if I can't be a good Luna and a good mother? What if I fail-at both?" He leaned closer, his hands cradling my face as his dark eyes met mine. "Astrid, you've already proven how strong you are. You've faced everything thrown at you and cout stronger.

Being a mother doesn't take away from that-it adds to it. You're already the best mother to Ryker, and I know you'll be just as incredible for this child." His words soothed the storm in my chest, but the doubt still lingered. "But the pack—" "The pack will thrive because of you," he interrupted gently. "And our family will thrive because of us. You're not doing this alone, Astrid I'm here, Asha's here, and so is the entire pack. We'll support you every step of the way." I closed my eyes, letting his words wash over me. Slowly, the fear began to ease, replaced by a tentative sense of hope.

Killian pressed a kiss to my forehead, his lips lingering there as if to seal his promise. "This child is a gift, Astrid. A symbol of everything we've fought for. Our family, our love, and our future."

Tears welled up again, but this time, they were tears of gratitude and love. "Thank you, whispered. He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from my face. "For what?" "For believing in me. For always believing in us." Killian pulledinto his arms, holdingclose as the sunlight warmed the room.

In his embrace, I felt a glimmer of peace, a flicker of excitement om what was to come.

This child wasn't just a new beginning-it was a reminder that we It was a forehe a future worth had fought for living, and we would continue to fight for it together.
