In the pouring rain, the Miguel family’s manor loomed across approximately 1.2 acres.

Through the tall, glowing windows, well-dressed gentlemen and ladies clinked glasses and chatted; smiles lit
every face.
And 1-fiancée of the current Alpha of the Shadowmoon Pack, the only werewolf to inherit the powerful ancient
bloodline from my mother, was crawling through the mud in the shadows.
How ironic.
In my last life, | hadn't understood why a good girl like me-who strictly obeyed the wolf clan’s code- couldn't

That fool Aubrey probably still had no idea why she had failed to awaken her wolf.
Ha-poor thing. | swirled the wine in my glass, smiling smugly. Tonight, she would be completely disgraced; she
would lose her place as Alpha Henry's fiancée for good.
The banquet was winding down. | picked up a spoon and tapped it against my wineglass, drawing the guests’
attention. It was tto treat everyone to a little show-watching Aubrey, barely clinging to life after being raped
by two Beta werewolves. Oh, how tragic.
“Ladies and gentlemen...”
Suddenly, the oak doors burst open with a deafening crash.
Aubrey appeared in the doorway, filthy and battered; thunder and lightning cracked behind her.
With wet hair, bare feet, she looked like a ghost rising from a stormy night.
A cold smile played at her lips. Her sharp gaze swept the room-and landed squarely on me.
The icy chill in her eyes sent a wave of dread through me.

How could a worthless girl. fed wolf-suppressing drugs for three years, give off such an oppressive presence?
And where were Robert and Easton? They were high-ranking Beta warriors; how had they let an Omega with no
wolf escape?
1 immediately reached out to Robert through our mental link, ordering him to get here now. Then, feigning
shock, | rushed toward Aubrey.
“Aubrey! Weren't you resting after having too much to drink? What happened-who did this to you?”
| opened with a calculated smear, deliberately steering everyone's attention. Sure enough, the banquet hall fell
silent; werewolves were always quick to pounce on a scandal.
And now, with Aubrey’s unnaturally flushed face and the disheveled clothes barely hanging on her body- she
looked exactly like someone who had been assaulted.
| put on a look of concern and said, as if explaining for her, “Aubrey, haven't you been training as a warrior?
You're quite strong... no ordinary warriors should be able to overpower you... unless you had too much to drink
and...”
And lost the ability to fight back? And lost control under the influence of alcohol?-
