In a large round tower that reached the sky, Kana and Nancy walked through the double doors to see lines of people lined up at ten different windows. "You here to sign up?"
A lady at the side asked with a smile. For a colosseum, she wore clothes that did not make it seem like they were in a fighting pit. She wore a blue business suit dress with neat pulled back hair. She smiled as she looked at Kana and Nancy. Even her posture seemed like she came from some kind of noble upbringing.
"Yes, I am. She is my maid so she is only here to watch." Kana replied, returning a smile.
"Then please line up in one of the lines here. You will need to sign a death waiver. Everyone starts off on the first floor. After winning fifty fights, you will move on to the second floor. Each floor has the same number of wins until you reach the hundredth floor, where the number of wins is reduced to six. I wish you good luck." The lady bowed her head to Kana before turning her attention to the person behind her. Kana thanked the lady before walking over to the shorter of the ten lines.

I will put a ward on you that if they dare to touch you, they will be struck with lightning and will be blown away. While it will not kill them, it will make anyone with any proper mind stay away. Even if it is a gun, they will still receive a backlash." Kana did not trust the security of this place, so she had long placed a lightning ward on Nancy. It was a special kind of magic that put a barrier around the person, and any attacks would result in the attacker ing struck by lightning.
Nancy blushed as her misunderstanding with Kana once more took over her mind. She thought that Kana was saying that she was Kana's property and that no one was allowed to touch her. And so her heart was once more aflutter.
"You okay? Your face is red." Kana looked at Nancy with a worried expression.
"I-I am fine!" Nancy replied hurriedly. She smiled brightly, knowing Kana was worried about her. Kana gave Nancy a questioning look before turning her attention to the front once more.
After about twenty minutes, they finally reached the counter. The man sitting there in front of the computer placed a glass tablet in front of Kana and said: "Please sign the waiver if you are signing up. And I will give you your number."
Not once did the man look up. It was as if he was a machine with how smoothly he did everything while still typing on the keyboard in front of him. Kana looked at the glass tablet and picked up the glass pen next to it, and signed her name. She then took the round metal plate that had the number 1034 on it.
"Once you reach the 50th floor, you will be given a room to stay in. You will need to travel back and forth until then. You can also fight until you reach the 50th floor as well, but I do not recommend it unless you are a full cy." The man explained before pointing to the door to the left. "Watchers to the left, fighters to the right."
Kana once more gave her thanks and walked towards the left door with Nancy. "Remember, do not take crap from anyone."
"I won't, I promise!" Nancy replied happily. "Good luck!"
"Mmm… Should be easy." Kana replied as she waved at Nancy and headed towards the other door.
Nancy stared at her retreating back and wondered if she should have given her a good luck kiss. Little did she know that if she did, she would probably have been kicked into oblivion.
Kana entered the door to the right and found a long hallway which she skipped down. She was in quite a good mood as she made her way to the end of the hall. When she did reach the end, she was met with hundreds of stages, all of which were just blood stained square gray platforms that were set up in neat rows in a massive circular arena. There was already a large group of people here, and each one seemed to be waiting in line to be led to a battle stage.
The audience was already roaring as battles were going on. Kana could see quite a few fights, most of which looked like nothing more than street fights. She hummed a song to herself, which garnered her quite a few strange looks, which she ignored. She did not care what the people here thought of her. She was having a good time. And that was what she was here to do. She knew that once she returned, she would need to go back to her daily life at the academy, and that was boring. But she was going not so much for herself but for her family, who needed the experience more than her.
After almost an hour, Kana was finally directed to her fighting stage. She walked over still with a skip in her step. As she stepped up onto the stage, the person across her began laughing. "What is this!? Some kind of blind date!? I did not come here to look at little girls with flat chests. I came here to fight and get girls with big chests!"
"Ummm…." Kana did not look at the man but the referee at the side and asked: "Can I kick him now?"
"Huh?" The referee was a bit stunned at Kana's words before looking back at the man who was still going on about girls' chests and butts and nodded his head. "Fight start!"
Kana's Opponent wasn't paying attention since he was in the middle of his rant, and before he knew what was going on, he felt a sharp pain in his stomach, and his vision was filled with the colosseum's ceiling….
