Chapter 114 Threaten

Suddenly, a strong force gripped her wrist, causing Eileen to stagger and almost fall.

Eric pulled her towards the study and threw her in, his movements swift and decisive, closing the door

and locking it from outside.

Sharon hurried over, questioning, “Mr. Snow, what are you doing?”

Knocks echoed from within the study. “What are you doing? Let me out, Eric, you jerk! What right do

you have to lock me up?”

Eric secured the door and withdrew the key, his expression grim. “Without my orders, no one is to bring

her food,” he declared.

He then said to Eileen, “You’ll be let out as soon as you’ve realized your mistakes! I’d like to see how

you’re going to stop me from interfering in your affairs!”

Vera was awakened by the noise outside. Pressing herself against the back of her room door, she

listened intently to the commotion. Are Eric and Eileen quarreling?

When it was seven-thirty, Vera emerged from her room, taking a seat to eat breakfast. The atmosphere

in the living room was tense. As she sipped her porridge, she looked up and asked, “Eric, isn’t today a

workday? Don’t you have to go to work today?”

Eric, still in his loungewear, was engrossed in the latest financial newspaper, emitting an intense aura.

“I’m working from home today. I’ll have Gavin drive you to school in a bit.”

“Oh… okay.”

As Vera left, she cast a glance at the tightly shut door of the study.

Eric has always been gentle-tempered, humble, and polite to others, rarely losing his temper. What

exactly happened between him and Eileen?

Sharon was about to say something when she emerged to clear the dishes from the table, but Eric

spoke up first. “I’ll be home, Sharon. You can take the day off today.”

Is Mr. Snow determined to keep Eileen locked up for a whole day? This child has never suffered much

since she was young. How can she possibly take this?

Trying to reason with Eric on Eileen’s behalf, she began, “Eileen is still young and ignorant-”

However, she was interrupted by Eric.

“Still young? She’s eighteen now. She should have the judgment of an adult.” Eric didn’t say

anything further before putting down the newspaper in his hand and standing up with one hand in his

pocket. He then returned to his bedroom.

Sharon cast a worried glance toward the study. I can’t believe this child… How can she lose her temper

at Mr. Snow?

Eileen remained locked up throughout the morning, enduring the confinement until three in the

afternoon. Finally, the door to the study was opened. The room was dim, with the lights off and curtains

drawn, enveloping it in complete darkness. Eric reached for the switch on the wall, illuminating the

room. To his surprise, the entire study remained tidy, devoid of any signs of disorder.

His gaze fell on the person curled up on the couch, the bandage on the back of her hand soaked with

blood, which was dripping onto the floor.

She resembled a lifeless doll, unmoving.

The man approached, his deep-set eyes penetrating as he looked down at her. “Have you calmed

down?”

Regaining her composure, Eileen sat up on the couch, attempting to escape his gaze. However, in his

presence, she felt as if she was suffocating, unable to breathe.

Suddenly, the man seized her, his rough palm gripping her wrist. Instinctively, Eileen shook off his hand

in response.

“Get lost! Don’t touch me!”

Her eyes were red, as though she had been crying, and her complexion appeared worn out, carrying a

hint of sickly pallor.

She left the study, quickly collecting several books and stashing them into her backpack. Stepping into

the hall, she efficiently arranged the books in her bag, slinging it over her shoulder, readying herself to

leave.

Eric had already stepped out of the study, positioning himself in front of her, blocking her

way.

I can’t spoil her. She’ll forget who’s in charge.

Eric stated, “Now, you have two choices. First, go back to your room and calm down completely before

talking to me again. Second, I can take you back to school, but from now on, you must be home by

nine. If you’re going to be later than that, you need to let me know.”

Eileen retorted, “Just focus on taking care of Vera! I have nothing to say to a hired killer.”

She walked past him, her hand reaching out to turn the doorknob. As she opened the door, a

sudden hand shot out, forcefully shutting it. The neighbor across, who was about to step out, was

startled by the abrupt action.

Eric gripped her shoulders, forcefully pinning her against the wall. His eyes were

dangerously intense, almost as if they could tear through her. Eileen could feel the restrained fury

emanating from his gaze.

She suddenly chuckled, “What? Are you upset? Did I say something wrong? You’ve been drugging me

for years, and you even had someone attack me… And now you’re playing the role of an older brother

figure. What’s this supposed to mean? Are you showing concern or pity? I’ll say it again, get lost!”

The man in front of her leaned in suddenly, and she felt a soft sensation against her lips. His kiss was

dominant, his tongue sweeping past every inch of her mouth like a hurricane.

He kissed her passionately and vigorously, as if he had lost his mind.

Eileen felt her hands forcefully pinned against the wall as she gasped for breath. The kiss persisted

until she bit down hard on his lips. The man winced in pain, and they both tasted the metallic

sweetness in their mouths.

After a brief pause, his actions intensified, and he persistently bit down on her soft lip, enduring the

pain. Eileen struggled hard in pain.

Her scent was like poison, addictively intoxicating.

If the first kiss was part of his plan, then what is this? Is he kissing me out of anger? Why is he angry?

Even Eric himself had no idea where his anger came from. Is there anything wrong with what she said?

Every word she said was true, without a shred of falsehood or slander!

He was well aware of the fact that she was averse to him and deliberately distancing herself from him,

even avoiding him completely.

At the same time, he also knew what he was doing.

Some of the things he did were beyond his expectations, yet he couldn’t seem to control himself and

still crossed the line.

After an unknown period of time, a wave of dizziness washed over Eileen. She leaned against the wall,

trying to prevent herself from falling. Her long, dark eyelashes fluttered, and her expression conveyed

innocence yet vulnerability. This delicate appearance, easily influenced, only served to fuel darker

desires in the man’s heart.

Slap!

In response, Eric received a slap on his face-neither too gentle nor too forceful.

“If you dare touch me again, Eric, I will tell Will and have him cut off your hands.” Eileen’s voice

trembled with a sobbing tone.

She’s even threatening me now. Excellent.

The tall man in front of her tilted his head, laughing softly. His thumb gently caressed her enticing lips,

his gaze dropping, then settling on her vulnerable eyes.

Whenever she threw a tantrum, she resembled a wild rose growing in the wilderness, adorned with

thorns, capable of pricking anyone who approached too closely.

When bullied, however, she trembled with fear, as harmless as a little rabbit. Her eyes were red, giving

her an extremely innocent appearance.

“Call me your big brother!” he said, his tone authoritative.

Eileen remained silent, challenging his command with her gaze.

Eric applied more pressure to her injured lips.

Eileen winced in pain.

“Call me big brother!”

“No.”

“Don’t make me repeat myself. Call me ‘big brother’, or I can’t guarantee what I might do next.”

His voice, devilish, echoed through the living room. His gaze deepened, becoming increasingly intense

and dark.

In that moment, a chill enveloped her, so cold it sent shivers down her spine.

Eileen was gripped by fear, unsure of what he might do next-something unimaginable. Alone in the

spacious room and within his reach, escape seemed impossible for her.

Eric always did as he pleased, unconcerned about the consequences.

He might even make her his right then and there.
