Chapter 524
It just happened to be a reasonable excuse that wouldn't alert the enemies.
Knox cprepared this time. He arranged for a dozen bodyguards to lead the way as they barged into Caldwell
Antiques.
It was still within business hours at that time. The customers in Caldwell Antiques watched as a dozen vicious-
looking bodyguards barged into the shop. They were so frightened they all rushed to hide behind the racks.
The employees who were serving their customers were horrified. They rushed to call for security and went to the
manager's office at the back of the shop to look for Edna.
"Who are you? How dare you look for trouble here at Caldwell Antiques?" Rivero mustered up the courage to
question Knox's bodyguards, only to be pushed away by them.
"Stop your nonsense. Get Edna Moorley out here now."
Knox held a baseball bat in his hand as he pointed to the expensive pottery in the shop. "If | don't see her within
five minutes, I'll destroy your shop."
Usually, Knox didn't have to do all this himself. He just needed to give an order and there would be countless

However, the bracelet he had gotten for five million dollars was tampered with poison. There was no way he
could let them go so easily.
When Yolanda got to the center of the shop, she started looking around at the interior design and item
placements.
She realized that the antique shop now had a new interior design since she last came. There was also the
addition of a large collection of gemstone boulders displayed on the shelves on the wall, filling up the entire
space.
Yolanda did a rough estimation. There must be at least 10 thousand gemstone boulders displayed in that shop.
From the surface of these boulders, they looked like they had just arrived from Myaten.
It was recently a quieter season for the antique collection community. Since there was once a gemstone boulder
gambling trend that had swept through Creybia recently, Edna thought that it was profitable here as well, so she
had gotten a lot of boulders imported in an attempt to boost sales in the quieter seasons.
Just as Yolanda was looking through the changes to the shop's arrangements, a slender, professional-looking lady
walked out with a few of her employees behind her.
"Hey, isn't this Mr. Knox? Are you here to buy something again?"
Edna, the manager of the Caldwell Antiques, saw Knox and even though there was a smile plastered on her face,
her expression was arrogant as usual.
"lI won't dare to buy anything from you anymore." The moment Knox saw Edna, his face darkened and the
danger flared in his eyes.
"If | were to ca few more times, I'd probably die here."
"What did you mean by that, Mr. Knox?" Edna was a little surprised. She cocked
her eyebrow while looking at the burly bodyguards Knox had brought with him and frowned.
Clearly, the number of bodyguards Knox had brought with him had severely impacted the shop's operations.
"Why don't | understand what you're talking about, Mr. Knox?"
"Hah, playing dumb, I see." Knox scoffed coldly as he took long strides toward Edna. "You know what you did!"
"What do you mean by that, Mr. Knox?" Edna asked, confused.
"If my employees haven't served you well, please ctodirectly. I'll teach them a lesson for sure."
"Good acting skills." Knox laughed menacingly as sarcasm colored his face. "It's a shyou're not an actress.
"Look at how good you are at pretending to be innocent!"
