Chapter 806

Zachary let out a clear laugh, and the intimidating aura around him softened considerably as he gazed at her

with obvious affection.

Little did he know that Vivian witnessed this scene, clenching her fists so hard she actually broke a nail, her

expression seething with malice.

Watching the two leave together, Vivian's heart burned with hatred.

When most guests had departed, Vivian could no longer contain her jealousy and rage. She slipped away to her

upstairs room.

The door slammed shut.

Muffled roars echoed from within, followed by the crash of objects hitting the floor and shattering.

The servants who heard the commotion stood nervously outside, exchanging worried glances. None dared

disturb their furious mistress.

Just then, an uninvited guest strolled leisurely up the stairs.

The man wore a black trench coat, his features rugged yet carrying an air of reckless abandon.

The servants showed no surprise at his arrival, bowing respectfully with practiced familiarity. "Mr. Spencer."

Leon slipped his hands into his pockets and smiled. "Where's Vivian?"

The servants gestured toward the room, still visibly shaken. "Miss is inside."

Leon noticed their expressions and raised an eyebrow. "Another tantrum?" The servants hesitated before

nodding.

Leon's smile deepened with casual indifference. "You can all go downstairs. I'll handle this."

Given Vivian's treatment of Mr. Spencer, the servants didn't dare disobey and quickly retreated.

Leon maintained scourtesy, knocking before entering. "May | cin?"

Vivian recognized his voice. Impatience flashed across her features, but she took

a deep breath and replied as calmly as possible, "Cin."

Leon licked his lips and entered, closing the door behind him.

The room lay in dim light, but moonlight streaming through the windows revealed the wreckage scattered across

the floor.

Leon stepped carefully around the glass shards, making disapproving sounds.

Vivian huddled on the bed, arms wrapped around her knees, resembling a wounded animal in defensive posture.

"What do you want?" Her voice cout hoarse.

Leon approached slowly, reaching out to lift her chin. His gaze roamed brazenly over her beautiful face as he

spoke softly, "Not happy to see me?"

Vivian turned her head away, escaping his grasp. "If you weren't welcome, would you have gotten into my room

so easily?"

Leon chuckled and nodded approvingly. "True enough. That's exactly what | wanted to hear."

Vivian had no patience for his

games. She closed her eyes and put

on an exhausted expression. "If you

Leon straightened, looking down at her. His tone shifted, becoming unreadable.

"So you're this angry because of Zachary?"

Though phrased as a question, it carried certainty.

At his words, Vivian's body trembled. Her eyes Snapped open, flashing coldly in the darkness as she gritted her

teeth. "All | feel for him now is hatred. Every moment, think about destroying his reputation." s

Leon sighed, his lips curving in what seemed part lament, part mockery. "Hell hath no fury like a woman

Then his tone shifted as he casually removed his designer trench coat and tossed

it onto the bedside sofa.
