Chapter 515 Evelyn decided it was best not to take any risks and chose to send Gigi a text because Daniel was sitting right in front of her. "Why is this brat contactingat this hour? What the hell is she thinking?" she fumed inwardly.

Initially, Gigi wanted to call her mother to tattle on Nadine, but when her mother declined her call, she pounded the bed beneath her and cursed under her breath, "So much for being my mother! She always said she'd be there forwhenever I needed her. What a load of crap!" After venting her frustration, she received a message from her mother, which helped to calm her down somewhat. She responded right away. "I see. So, when are you going to getout of here? I've been stuck here for almost half a month I feel like I'm going to rot!" To show just how angry she was, she added a couple of furious emojis. All she wanted was for her mother to understand her frustration and get her out of there as soon as possible.

Evelyn took a while to get back to her because Daniel was around. After a few minutes, Gigi received her reply.

|| Do you think you're the only one who's anxious? Don't you think I'm just as anxious as you are? If you hadn't been so reckless last time, we wouldn't be in this mess! Yet, you still want an early release. In your wildest dreams!" Gigi turned Sean's birthday party into a disaster, and Adam hadn't made a peep about it. Evelyn thought the harsher the punishment for Gigi, the better. There was no telling what Adam would do if he took matters into his own hands.

Adam was extremely partial to Nadine. He treated Nadine as if she were his own granddaughter. It was strange, though. Nadine and Adam didn't share a single drop of blood, yet he still treated her like family.

Gigi was enraged after reading her mother's message. Her blood boiled as she sprang to her feet and started pacing around the room, fuming, "I'm in this mess because of you. You askedto stand up for Jean, remember? "Besides, you got something out of it too! I'm the one who made it possible for you to benefit from that situation!" Her mother's cold response made her feel disheartened. Initially, she had planned to ask her mother to help get her out of this room as soon as possible. If she waited any longer, her brother would eventually dump all her belongings onto the street.

She'd spent a fortune on those things. The thought of losing them made her heart ache.

Gigi pulled up the chat and was ready to lash out at her mother, but she hesitated and deleted the message. With her back against the wall, she had no choice but to ask her mother for help.

Gritting her teeth, she swallowed the harsh words on the tip of her tongue and rephrased her message.

"Mom, you know how much Dad and Grandpa adore Nadine. Could you ask her to put in a good word for me? As long as she's willing to speak up for me, I'm sure they'll letout. Please, Mom, I'm begging you!" Evelyn was so startled by her daughter's message that she almost e dropped her phone. However, to avoid arousing Daniel's suspicion she acted like everything was fine and continued to mindlessly tap at the screen.

Had Gigi lost her marbles? How could she even think of something so ridiculous? "Askingto go to Nadine doesn't she realize that would only boost her ego?" she wondered.

Evelyn was tempted to lash out at her daughter for such a foolish request. However, she realized that Nadine might indeed be the only person who could help. Asking her to plead Gigi's case might actually be a viable solution.

After setting her phone down and mulling it over, she responded with a e single word. "Okay." Gigi was stoked when she received her mother's message.

"Nadine Scott, if you helpthis time, I'm willing to forget all the times you crossedbefore. You had better appreciate this opportunity!" she mused.
