Han entered the school building and he looked around pleased. It was a very big school. It was a U-shaped building with many parents and children moving inside happily. They wrote on their website that they had all the utilities any child would need for perfect growth, and from what Han could see the school definitely had the money for something like that.

Well. He would see if they were worth it or not after talking with the principal. He began trekking inside the school. The first thing he saw once he entered was a long hallway that lead down both ways. Now, which way should he be going? He didn’t read the map when he was coming but he could just find out.

[Eyes of Horos] has been activated.

“Hello, maybe I can help you find the principal’s office? You’re looking for it right?”

Just at the same time he activated his eyes, someone suddenly walked up from behind Han. He deactivated them and then turned around to see that same Marie looking at him with a smile. His face squeezed in another show of disgust and she bristled in shock.

Now, what!? This time he just showed her immediate disgust!? Was she not being nice enough!? Don’t guys like women that smiled at them? What kind of man was this!?

“Don’t worry, I know where it is already. Just stop bothering me”

Han walked down the left hallway and began moving towards where he could see other parents gathering with their children. Today was the entrance exam for the school and for some reason this school had a different kind of entrance exam from other schools.

Instead of an exam where only the children were tested, the school also had a test for parents to take. According to the school, they needed to make sure the children had a conducive home environment, so they wanted to tell what sort of people their parents were first.

Han was a bit surprised to read something like this on the website but he decided it wouldn’t hurt to write a small test for Yue. He would just do it quickly before going to see the principal. He needed to make sure this school was a good one. What better way to know how good a place was than for you to meet the leader?

The room where the test for parents was held was different from where the test for children was to hold. When Han read this he immediately knew this would be trouble!t Because this girl didn’t want to let go of him!

“Yue… It’s only for thirty minutes. I promise I’ll come to find you once I’m done,”

Yue shook her head aggressively while tightening her hold on Han!

“No! I don’t wanna! I want to be with daddy!”

Han sighed as some of the women in the room began to giggle at their interaction. To those women, they were happy to see that the child loved her father so much. But Han just wanted all this to be over with as quickly as possible!

Han whispered into Yue’s ear.

“Okay, Yue. I’ll add another steak if you let go…”

Slowly, Yue began releasing her hand. She leaned back and looked Han in the eyes to make sure he wasn’t lying to her.

“Promise?”

Han couldn’t help but laugh! This girl loved steak more than she loved him!

“Yes, I promise. Now go do your exam, remember you prepared for this for so long, don’t you want to do well for Rin?”

Yue pouted again before she finally came down slowly while swinging her legs. She pointed to Han once she was on the ground.

“You better keep your word, Daddy! I won’t forgive you if you don’t!”

She then turned and marched into the room with the other children. The others gave her a wide gap to pass through once they saw her annoyed expression and Han couldn’t help his pride. Look at how she was already setting the hierarchy! That’s my girl!

“What a nice daughter,”

Han groaned loudly! This woman was persistent as fuck!! He turned around and eyed Marie in annoyance. He was getting tired of this woman already. Marie smiled at him and Han swallowed the scathing remark he almost threw at her. He didn’t have time to deal with people like her.

He turned to walk away but she suddenly reached out to touch him. Before she could do it Han took his hand away and glared at her.

“Don’t touch me,”

Marie swallowed nervously. This man was not even trying to be nice to her. Did she ever do something to him before? Wait… He wasn’t a friend to one of her former husband’s was he? No, she knew all her husband’s friends. Those idiots never looked as good as this man. She would remember if he was one of them. So why was this man so aggressive to her?

“Uh… I don’t think we’ve met before, my name is…”

“I don’t care. Just leave me alone. Your presence around me creates an aura of disgust around me that I can’t get rid of easily,”

Marie took a step back with wide eyes. This man… Hated her? It was obvious now. This was more than just disliking someone, he genuinely hated her!

This knowledge made something inside Marie tremble and she suddenly felt like she had to conquer this man no matter what! She still hasn’t seen a man that didn’t fall for her after a few conversations! This one would fall for her just like all the others.

After all, if he hated her then it would be even easier to make him fall for her. Hate and love were just two sides of the same coin, after all.

She looked up to speak to Han again but her shock was great when she noticed he already left! Where did he go!?

Han walked into the hall where parents erw supposed to write their own test and took a seat somewhere in front. It was strange for him to be back in a class again after so long. He has already forgotten what it was like to write a test.

The announcer that addressed them told them that the test would be an aptitude test for parents. It was already certified by the government and if a parent passed properly it would mean they were capable of providing the proper home care for their child.

Han saw the questions of the test and he rose a brow. What did my blood type have to do with my ability to take care of Yue? My height? My weight? Monthly salary?

All these things were the type of questions on the paper and Han couldn’t find a single one of them that made sense. He was able to answer them, yeah, but they didn’t make sense to him. These people were so materialistic with their questions. Every one of them was in a way connected with how much money Han had in his bank account and how close Han was to the upper part of society. Instead of a test, this was more like a bank statement!

Twenty minutes later, Han finished the test and someone went and collected the papers from everyone. He was a little disappointed by it, but he didn’t care. So long as the school could provide good education he was fine with it.

Han went and took Yue from the other test room once they were done too and he went to see the principal of the school. The reception office had a few parents there with their children and Han patiently waited to enter. Well, he would have been patiently waiting if there wasn’t a damn bug disturbing him!

“What exactly do you want to meet the principal for? I can surely help you with your issue! The principal even owes me a few favors!”

He was going to kill her. Han was going to kill this woman if she wasn’t careful. Just leave me the hell alone already! How hard does someone need to glare at you for you to finally understand that he doesn’t want anything to do with you!?

Why didn’t Han just use his bloodlust to chase her away? Well, his bloodlust wasn’t a pinpoint skill, it had an area effect that would affect everybody in the room. And if he used it he wasn’t sure if everyone would just die from the sudden shock.

Finally, after having to listen to this woman ranting for close to five minutes, his name was called. He looked towards Yue and told her not to even try anything funny while he was inside. She would lose all her steak privileges if she did! Yue gave him a funny look before finally smiling and nodding. Han didn’t like the look of that smile at all. It looked like something Rina would give him whenever she was annoyed, but he didn’t have any other choice but to trust that she wouldn’t do anything crazy.. Han sighed as he stood up and he entered the office.
