to get in, he heard a familiar voice behind him. “Zane!”

Zane turned around, only to see Alice running toward him, leaning on the railing as she panted for breath.

“What are you doing here?” Zane asked.

At the sound of his question, Alice’s anger flared. “I've called you so many times, but you never picked up.”

“Have you?” Zane raised an eyebrow, about to reach for his phone when Barry quickly took a phone from his

pocket and handed it to Zane with both hands. “Here you go, Mr. Hartley.”

Taking the phone, Zane unlocked it, only to find over twenty missed calls from the sperson. “What's

wrong?”

Barry put on a look of innocence. “I didn’t do it on purpose, Mr. Hartley. You toldnot to pick up any calls.”

When Alice called earlier, Zane just tossed the phone to him and told him to hang up.
