Chapter 1518 "Jo, are you fleeing for your life?" Jack pulled over, rolled down the window, and poked his head out

with a grin.

Joanne had no time for joking. She yanked open the car door and got in. "Drive! Edwin's after me!"

Jack's playful demeanor vanished as he sat up straight. He restarted the car and sped off.

Peering through the rearview mirror, Joanne saw no sign of Edwin in pursuit.

With a sullen face, Edwin didn't chase after him. Instead, he turned his gaze to Ada, who was being dragged away

by the bodyguards.

"Send her to the police station," Edwin said indifferently.

Lucas yelped and then heard Edwin add sharply, "I don't believe that Jack will just sit back and watch."
