Harmony’s face turned redder. “You're keeping an eye onfor life?” “Yes,” Ezekiel replied adamantly.
Harmony uttered, “You don’t even knowwell. | haven't even shown you my flaws.” Ezekiel looked at her, smiling lovingly. “Showeverything. | can take it.” Harmony chuckled, but she said solemnly, “Sure, let's take tto know each other, but if you ever find a side ofthat you don’t like, you can cutloose.” Ezekiel felt his heart squeezing up, and he went ahead to pull her into his embrace. “I'll never cut you loose,” he whispered.
The last one who confessed to her in the smanner was Reuben. He told her all the romantic stuff this world had to offer, but in the end, the relationship was a tragedy. Harmony was always cool and rational about love.
Even if it was Ezekiel saying this, she couldn't take it seriously, or she would lose everything. “Sure, get back to work.” Harmony smiled, pushing him away.
Ezekiel could feel Harmony keeping a distance between them. Even though they had skinship and given each other their bodies, he still couldn't get close to her soul that easily.
