She was starving from being cooped up in the car with him all morning and had no energy to get out.
Elliot stepped on the gas pedal and drove the car towards Starry River Villa.
Before Avery got out of the car, she grabbed onto the door handle and hissed through gritted teeth,
“You’re despicable, Elliot Foster!”
“Despicable?” Elliot snapped as the vein in his forehead pulsed. “Who’s a gentleman in your eyes,
then? Mike? Or your dear Wesley?”
