"Are you done?" Jared's voice sounded out outside the bathroom door.

"He's washing up. We can wait for him downstairs," Nicole replied. She was still embarrassed about everything that

had happened with Jared just now and wanted to leave the room as quickly as possible.

"Alright," Lana answered and followed Nicole out of the room.

Noticing the unusual look on Nolan's face, Nicole asked," Nolan, what's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing," Nolan responded without allowing his gaze to meet Nicole's.

"Mommy, there's really nothing going on. Let's go down," Lana butted in, helping Nolan to shift the focus away from

the question. It was then that Nicole raised her eyebrows a little. It seemed to her that Nolan had done something

children were hiding something, but for some reason, Jared hasn't noticed it.'
