My Werewolf System

In the hospital, Xin and Austin had tied Gil down to one of the hospital chairs. One of the doctors was in the room and had just placed a tap into his hand, pumping fluids into his body.

“This should keep him sedated,” the doctor said. “I know Altereds are more impressive than regular humans but I’ve given him ten times the amount. Even if he wakes up he’ll be extremely weak. Honestly, if a normal human was given such a thing, their heart would have already stopped beating.”

Both Xin and Austin thanked the doctor as he went off to treat the others. Although there was now a large outflow of people leaving the hospital… going back to see the state of what their homes were in, or their friends and family they were unable to meet up with, there were also those that were coming into the hospital.

Those who had been hiding from all of the trouble and carnage that was being caused. All of the gangs had heard the news of Sin’s defeat by now, and had already decided to leave, just in case the Howlers showed their wrath against them.

“I know you’re not back at 100 percent, but do you mind looking over this guy, you should be able to take him out if he opens his eyes,” Xin said.

Austin nodded.

“But where are you planning on going, I’m sure Gary would like to meet you.”

“Gary will have a lot of people to check on, his sister, talking to his mother again, heck even his father appeared and disappeared somewhere. With everything that happened, I’m perhaps the last thing that’s on his mind for the moment, but his mother said this person was important. So I think we should look out for him for the tbeing.

“I need to go see my own family.”

When Xin walked off, her smile completely disappeared. Because she was wondering, with all the town’s people in trouble, with everyone hurt, where was her father, the Mayor, in all of this. What had he been doing this entire time?

‘You wanted to protectfrom danger my whole life, but when it cto doing your job of protecting your city, what were you doing?’ Xin thought.

Gary was continuously looking at the body, and now that crowds of people were realizing that the fight was over, they were starting to cout of their buildings, out in the open, out to feel the fresh air.

Seeing this, Kai didn’t waste any tas he acted, he grabbed one of the messed-up cars, and then dragged it with his supernatural werewolf strength over to Gary.

At the stime, Midwak could see what he was doing and did the sthing, the two of them then started to move the cars over until it had completely surrounded Gary and blocked the view from the outside to the rest.

“I don’t want you to feel any guilt for what you're about to do,” Kai said. “The eyes watching you, they might not understand, but they do know right now that you were the one that saved them, rather than being afraid of you. That is the image that needs to be in their head.”

From watching the fight, and even before that Kai knew. The strength of a werewolf was consuming those that they fought, those around them. Gary’s absurd increase in power, and what he had done eating those Altered before going to fight Sin, and then finally, with Gary’s claws managing to catch on fire at the end, it was all because he had eaten Sin mid-match.

“You need to get stronger,” Midwak said, standing on top of one of the cars he dragged over. “That is your prey that you ate, and you need to keep getting stronger, don’t think for a second that this entire thing is over.”

It was words that Gary never expected from Midwak, and judging from him being here, it looked like he had fought by the Howlers' side in the end, regardless, he knew that they were right.

Heading down to the final parts of Sin, Gary started to transform, and ripped apart the rest of Sin’s body with his teeth and arms.

While looking at this sight, Kai’s mind couldn’t continue in his head.

‘Was Sin really working alone in all of this? He seemed quite desperate to attack Slough. If I’m right, the Underdogs connection was with Sin from Inferno City. They were the ones that were delivering the package too.’

‘That package, that started this all, why would Sin want to get his hands on it? Why did the Underdogs have it in the first place? It feels like there’s still more behind this. The fallout of Sin being defeated, it will spread to the other kings.’

‘Yet I’m worried as well, with the state we are in now, we can’t suffer another attack. We don’t have the power to take Inferno City for ourselves, we have to focus on looking after our city.’ Kai thought.

Finally, Gary had finished consuming every last bit of Sin, and with it, his system pinged him multiple times.

At the stime, having watched the entire livestream, Lupis, the Werewolf Alpha, had seen everything he needed to see.

“He is no longer a problem that we can ignore. We have to get rid of him, before he gets stronger. Everyone, we will be heading to Slough, immediately!” Lupis ordered.
