Selina murmured, "I saw Lothar, but I think I was having a hallucination then because my stomach started to hurt just after I saw him. Is it possible to have hallucinations before feeling intense pain? After all, Lothar is gone, how could I have seen him?" Matthew was confused.

When she saw the baby, she smiled and then fell asleep.

The baby might have read his mother's mind.

Everyone left the room.

Matthew made a call to his subordinates.

They had neglected their duties.

They assumed that Essie would only appear during the day, so none of them was looking out for her that night. Due to their negligence, they were unaware that Essie had appeared in the Perry villa.
