The venue Xander chose was a teahouse with a vintage atmosphere. It was a style the Lancer family liked most.
When Rosalie arrived, Xander was already waiting for her inside. Upon seeing her, he beckoned her to approach
him.
Rosalie stepped into the place and sat down opposite him.

"I should be the one apologizing to you instead," Xander blurted out.
Rosalie was confused to hear him say that.
She had no idea why Xander mentioned he should apologize to her.
"Speaking of which, I was the cause of the rumors."
Xander looked at Rosalie apologetically. "If I hadn't changed the time and met you at night, the reporters wouldn't
have taken photos of us, and the netizens wouldn’t have spread rumors like that.”
Rosalie felt a complicated feeling rising deep down when she heard him mentioning the rumors from before.
Speaking of which, this matter did happen because Xander changed their lunch meeting to dinner.
Seemingly seeing through her thoughts, Xander explained sincerely, "I really had something on that noon. Lancer
Corporation's branch company for medical herbs was facing a problem, and they needed me to go there urgently
to settle it."
Rosalie did not blame him for it, but she still felt everything that night was too much of a coincidence.
