Startled, Elizabeth froze as Ruby began pounding on the door, her voice filled with urgency.
“Elizabeth, you won't believe this! The Norris Group is calling us! Do you think they're reaching out to hold us
accountable?” Elizabeth was abruptly awakened, her fury simmering as she flung the covers off and stomped
barefoot to the door.
Although she had blocked Elijah’s and Oliver's numbers, she hadn't considered that they would contact Ruby
