With that final proclamation, King Richard raised His fist in a gesture of solidarity, his resolve unwavering as he prepared to lead his people into the known.
"Everyone, we are going to start moving towards the Forest of Never Return in a short while. I've prepared carriages and wagons to save us tbecause walking will take us approximately a week to get there."
"There are enough carriages for everyone; they are parked outside the city wall. Additionally, you are free to use your personal carriage if you are carrying one with you."
"Let's march into the Forest of Never Return and conclude this announcement here." King Richard's voice echoed around the stadium.
As the King's words echoed through the stadium, the crowd erupted into cheers, their voices rising in a thunderous cacophony of adulation. Murmurs of people rippled through the sea of spectators, a testament to their unwavering loyalty and respect for their beloved king.
"Long live, Your Majesty!"
"Your Majesty is great!"
"May his reign be prosperous and just!"
King Richard's heart swelled with gratitude at the outpouring of support from his people. With a humble nod, he raised his hand once more in acknowledgment, a silent gesture of appreciation for their unwavering devotion.
The stadium vibrated with the energy of their collective enthusiasm, a tangible reminder of the strength and unity of the kingdom under his rule.
As the crowd continued to cheer, King Richard gracefully exited the stadium's balcony with War General Valeria, leaving behind a wave of euphoria in his wake. As he departed, Crown Prince Daniel seized the moment to remark upon the king's popularity among his citizens.
"Your Majesty clearly has a way of endearing himself to his people," Crown Prince Daniel said, his tone tinged With admiration toward him.
War General Valeria stood beside Daniel and nodded in agreement, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
"Indeed," She agreed, her voice carrying a weight Of respect for King Richard. "His leaders command both loyalty and admiration."
War General Valeria was none other than Crown Prince Daniel's aunt. She is the Elder sister of Emperor Victor Lionheart, the seventh emperor of the Lionheart Empire.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtShe was destined to take the throne, but she refused to reign since she loved to battle both people and powerful monsters. She also refused to get married because no guy in the entire empire could match her swordplay.
She is a formidable opponent who only considers fighting and winning against formidable foes. She spends months or even years honing her power in perilous forests.
Her body was extremely muscular from her intense training, and although most men find women with such powerful bodies ugly, the enormous scar on her face gave her a certain attractiveness.
The man also always tries to stay away from her because of her aggressive character, and the rumors that she would behead her pursuers just make them more afraid of her and make them shudder in her presence.
"It's not just popularity," Suddenly, Yuan's voice resounded throughout the chamber, making everyone turn their eyes at him. "King Richard has earned the respect of his people through his actions and decisions. It is undeniable that he always considers methods to improve the lives of his people, even though he has committed a few missteps."
Queen Matilda and Princess Fiona chimed in with a giggle, and Queen Matilda's eyes sparkling with affection for her husband.
"Richard has always had the welfare of our citizens at heart," She remarked fondly. "He's forever striving for the greater good of the kingdom and its people."
Meanwhile, Holy Son Aurther's annoyance simmered beneath the surface as he observed the group chatting amicably, seemingly oblivious to his presence.
'That damn fucking bastard! He is getting on my nerves!' Aurther cursed Yuan inwardly for stealing the spotlight from him, he gritted his teeth in frustration.
"It's about twe move forward," Aurther interjected tersely, his irrigation evident In his tone. "We should lead everyone to the Forest Of Never Return without further delay. It will take us more than three days to get there, after all."
With a nod of agreement, everyone in the chamber reluctantly began to leave the chamber, they're obvious that the Holy Son was irritated for sreason.
Meanwhile, the regular people of the city started to make their way out of the stadium with The Hunters, Warriors, and Mages.
The king had planned for hundreds of carriages to transport them outside the city wall, so the Hunters, Warriors, and Mages didn't hang around the stadium. Instead, they went straight for the city gate.
While other members of the hunter party choose to bring their own carriages because they cannot find comfort in the ones the king has provided.
While Mireya and Sylvia were speaking with King Richard briefly about a crucial matter, Yuan and his spouses also left the stadium and waited for them.
"You had to be Yuan, the Celestial Blades' leader!"
Yuan and his wives whirled around the moment they heard a familiar voice behind them.
They noticed that it was none other than War General Valeria Lionheart, who was raising an eyebrow at them while sporting a broad smile.
"Oh! How may I assist you, Miss Valeria?" Even though her abrupt approach had taken him by surprise, Yuan asked in a composed manner.
War General Valeria did not respond to him; instead, she examined Yuan and his women from head to toe, her eyes like a predator focusing on its prey.
'Yuan, this young man...Despite looking much younger—even younger than my nephew—he is quite strong!' She thought a big smile cacross her face like she had discovered a wonderful toy to play with. Her eyes then turned to Yuan's wives, and a startled smile spread across her face.
'Not only that, but his spouses are as formidable, possibly even more so than the guys I've encountered in the empire. I'm so excited to go on our trip together.' She grinned, clearly excited for Yuan and his wives.
It's wonderful to meet you, it's nothing serious, I just wanted to say hello." A cryptic smile appeared on Valeria's lips as she extended her hand to shake Yuan's. "And I am excited to journey beside you." She then left, confusing Yuan even more before he had a chance to reply. What's the matter with her?
But when they saw War General Valeria left Anna and Grace were beaming broadly and looked at their son Yuan.
Soon after, Mireya and Sylvia cback to them, grinning gently, and Mireya promptly apologized.
"I sincerely apologize for keeping you guys waiting for us. His Majesty intended to show us to a few more notable individuals who weren't at the stadium since they were preoccupied with a crucial assignment."
It's alright. It was not difficult at all." Mireya and Sylvia exhaled with relief as Yuan started, grinning.
"I see what you mean." Mireya gave Him a smile. "So let's move towards the gate; His Majesty has already made arrangements for a luxurious carriage to take us all there."
"No! We're going to ride in our own carriage." Yuan stated.
"You guys traveling in a carriage? When did you purchase it?" The fact that Yuan and his wives travel together makes it seem plausible that they own a carriage, which startled Mireya.
"When you take a look at our carriage, you'll be shocked; get ready for a surprise," Lily said, her tone lighthearted and a naughty look on her face.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm'I wonder what surprises Lily is referring to.' Not only did Mireya find it intriguing, but Sylvia did too.
Anna giggled as she noticed the curious expressions on their faces and continued, "Now let's not waste our tby standing here idle."
"Very well. Then lead the way."
Yuan nodded and escorted them to Miss Zara's inn, where they had parked their carriage upon returning from their last mission.
A few minutes later, they arrived at the horse stable, where Yuan and his wives kept their horses. Their carriage was parked by the horse stable.
"Here we are," Julie murmured, smiling slightly and pointing her delicate finger at the carriage waiting beside the stable. "And that is our carriage. That's pretty fantastic, right?"
Mireya and Sylvia looked astonished when they saw Yuan's carriage. The carriage was tall, long, and wider than other carriages; they had never seen one this large before.
Not only that, but the carriage appeared to be strong enough to withstand powerful monster attacks, making it ideal for a large Hunter Party.
"Is this your carriage? Where did you buy this?" Mireya glanced at the carriage with a bewildered expression, as if shocked by its enormous size. "This thing is huge! It can easily accommodate over twenty people."
"It was a gift to Yuan from my mother," Rose replied with a pleased smile on her lips, recalling the occasion her mother gifted them with this carriage.
"This item will definitely grab a lot of attention from everyone," Sylvia mumbled with a sigh, her voice barely above a whisper.
A few minutes later, the carriage was ready to be driven, and Lily, as usual, instantly assumed her role as coachman and snatched the reins.
"Let's get in. Quickly!" Yuan shouted, prompting Mireya and Sylvia to rush inside the carriage, followed by his wives.
"Everything's ready! Let us move forward!" Yuan's voice echoed from inside the carriage. Lily flicked the reins quickly, causing the horses to drag the carriage ahead.
Yuan and his wives, accompanied by Mireya and Sylvia, arrived outside the City walls in their massive carriage which attracted a lot of attention.
As they approached, they beheld a scene of organized chaos; hundreds of carriages lined up in orderly rows, each one filled with individuals preparing for the mission ahead.
Soldiers hustled about, directing the flow of traffic and ensuring that everyone boarded their designated carriage efficiently. The air was thick with anticipation, a tangible sense of purpose driving the participants forward.
