Maggie nodded affirmatively.
"There's one bottle of medicine that should be taken before meals.
I've already administered it to Sanford.
The rest will be taken after breakfast." Shari acknowledged with a nod and refrained from further comment.
Meanwhile, Maggie began to serve Sanford his breakfast, while Rosalynn and Brian settled themselves on the sofa.
Shari handed them each a glass of water.
Brian's phone chimed with a message.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt was from Edwin.
The previous night, Brian had tasked Edwin with checking on the recent status and whereabouts of Jamir's siblings, and it seemed Edwin had found the information.
Brian passed his phone to Rosalynn.
"Would you like to joinin visiting the Wagners' house later?" Rosalynn glanced at the message and nodded her agreement.
Sanford, lying in the hospital bed, overheard their conversation. "Huh? You are visiting the Wagners' house? Why?" Rosalynn felt a heaviness in her chest as she thought of Jamir.
She replied, a somber tone in her voice, "Jamir died and askedto take care of his family before he passed." Sanford looked taken aback for a moment, then sighed deeply.
"Jamir saved us.
But why didn't he choose the right path, instead of following Leon?" Rosalynn paused, collecting her thoughts before responding, "He had a sick sister at hand required money.
I asshe took those risky jobs because they offered prompt payment." Sanford nodded, his expression softening with understanding.
"I see.
Although his way of making a living isn't commendable, he indeed was a good brother." Rosalynn nodded in deep agreement, her expression solemn.
Listening to their conversation, Shari subtly lowered her eyes.
After Sanford finished his breakfast, Rosalynn began preparing for his acupuncture treatment.
"You can go out.
I'll assist Rosalynn," Brian said to Maggie, then took a seat by the bedside and began to help Sanford undress. Rosalynn raised an eyebrow, slightly amused by Brian's' unexpected involvement, but she didn't object.
She signaled for Maggie and Shari to leave first.

While lying on the bed, Sanford couldn't resist The CEO of Hughes Group Serving me? I'm quite flattered." Brian shot Sanford a sideways look.
"You are flattered, huh?" Sanford chuckled.
"Well, Brian, from here on out, you will comply with all my requests and won't disobey me, correct?" "Would you really liketo do that?" Brian asked.
Sanford's eyebrows arched with mischief.
"Con, man, it's a rare chance.
I'd love to see what happens if I did."
