Chapter 2135
This time, before Darcie could speak, Stella stepped forward and said gently, "Mrs. Esper, | apologize for your
unpleasant perftesting experience with US today. Not only did we take up your afternoon, but we also did
not manage to get you a perfyou liked. I'm truly sorry for what happened."
She took a deep bow and said, "Thank you for supporting Caline over the years. It's our fault for not meeting
your expectations today. Please take this bottle of 'Dream Weaver' as our apology to you. | hope you can accept

"I'll help you process the cancelation right away. Of course, after this, any after-sales-related issues with the
products you purchase from US will still be entertained, and you'll still be treated as our VIP client. This is the
least we can do."
Grace paused, and she looked at Stella from head to toe. She was somewhat surprised that Stella did not try to
persuade her or even please her. Everyone in the company, including Darcie, had been trying to subtly flatter
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇther in their conversations with her.
Shopping was supposed to be happy, and all Grace wanted was a clear and firm apology.
Clearly, neither Darcie nor Jaylene had given her that. Although they both talked about compensating her,
neither of them directly admitted their mistake and even added "no matter what" while speaking to her, as if she
was making a fuss for no reason.
It was their fault. Grace just could not figure out why it was so difficult for them to admit it.
However, the fact that Stella did not dodge responsibility made her feel a lot better about the situation.
Stella also noticed that she had a keen eye for ‘Dream Weaver." Although Grace could easily afford it, she was
still impressed by Stella's willingness to spend such a huge amount of money to uphold Caline's reputation.
Darcie's heart skipped a beat. Although she was not there, she could sense Grace's mood turning better from the
relaxed tension. She gripped her phone tightly, pursed her lips, and remained silent.
Although she was angry at Stella for making that decision without consulting her, she was willing to suppress her
anger if Stella's plan could retain Grace as a client.
However, Jaylene could not hold herself back. "What? Do you know how much effort we put into developing
‘Dream Weaver?' Do you know how much it costs? You didn't contribute anything to it; who are you to give it
away just like that?"
Grace was taken aback. 'Darcie is such a sharp-witted person, yet her daughter is nothing like her! Have she
taught her nothing?’
Stella lifted her cold gaze at Jaylene. "Regardless of its price, I'll pay for it! Mrs. Esper had such a bad experience
with US during my reception, so I'll take full responsibility for it. I'm just doing whatever I can for her. Don't
worry; the company will not spend a penny on this!"
Then, she turned to Grace and said, "Mrs. Esper, please cwith me."
Darcie still wanted to defend Jaylene, but Grace had already stood up and said flatly, "At least there's still
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmsomeone who can handle things in the company. Let's go."
Stella then led Grace and Joe out of the perftesting room. Jaylene was just about to stop them, but Aubrey
called out to her, "Jaylene, Mrs. Saun wants to speak to you."
Jaylene took the phone and said nervously, "Mom, why didn't you say anything just now? Stella is already
bringing them downstairs!"
Darcie gritted her teeth and said, "Jaylene Saun! What did | tell you before I left? Have you forgotten everything |
said? Who gave you the idea to selll Cloud Nine' to Mrs. Esper? Do you think she's as stupid as you? You'd better
book a private room at The Deli for tomorrow right now!"
Jaylene's expression turned ugly after getting scolded by Darcie. When she heard the last thing Darcie said, she
asked softly, "What for?"
Darcie closed her eyes and said irritably, "To use their restroom!"
Jaylene was speechless.
