Even for divorce-related matters, if there was something to clarify, Franklin could've done it all through messages. Or simply had the lawyers handle it-it would've been quicker, cleaner. In fact, he didn't need to consult Maggie at all for anything he wanted to do.
In other words, there was no need for them to meet in person. And yet today, they did. And from what Isabella had said-it was Franklin who had gone out of his way to meet Maggie.
