Mia had gone there earlier looking for the entry point and found it. “Yes. It’s just like you said. The seam is right
behind the garden and was blocked by a tree. No one usually passes by there. When it’s dark, I’ll go see if they are
doing it.”
Julie nodded. “Don’t go too early. Go after 10.” She did not want John to notice Mia’s presence.
Mia nodded and answered, “Yes, Madam. I understand.”
The sky was already dark when Sherry was satiated with food.
Caprice woke up and got out of bed. She slowly walked out to the living room with her messy hair.
When she came down, the smell of grilled meat woke her up, and her eyes widened at the meal in front of her
parents.
“Caprice?” Sherry went over to the girl and picked her up.
Caprice’s googly eyes switched from the table full of food to her mother. She stared at her for a few seconds
before chuckling happily.
The girl’s adorable gaze charmed Sherry, putting a smile on her face. She asked, ” Caprice, why are you so
happy?”
“Mommy looks like a dirty cat.” She poked Sherry’s face with her tiny fingers.

John then walked to her. He looked a lot more at ease compared to the giggling girl, but he was also amused.
Sherry’s gaze shifted. She put Caprice in John’s care and went into the bathroom.
The moment she saw herself in the mirror, she noticed that her face was smeared
with sauce.

Sherry smiled at her and the girl smiled back brightly. Even her eyes curved into two lines. The girl was amused by
the ‘dirty cat‘.
Sherry allowed her baby daughter to laugh at her at will, but she glared at John.
John curved his lips and chuckled, feeling even more amused than before. Sherry just sighed as she turned around
to the basin and washed her face.
