Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise Chapter 63
Lumma also smiled at Judy, “Miss Hills, good evening!”
Judy grabbed Lumma enthusiastically. “We are going to play a murder mystery game. Lumma, do you want to join
us?”
“Enjoy yourselves. I won’t go.” Lumma just wanted to find a place to rest quietly for a while and think about how to
deal with Diandra later.
Adam refused simply and directly, “I am not interested.”
“Okay. We’re going to play.” Judy dragged Anita away, who was stiff from fright. “Anita, why is your hand so cold?”
Anita didn’t reply.
It was nothing that her hand was cold. She almost lost her hand.
Lumma and Adam were left in the relatively quiet corner…
“Mr. Hills, thank you!” Adam said that she didn’t have to be afraid of anyone, nor the Hawes family. Today, his
actions proved that she could believe every word he said.
“Why don’t you play games?” When Adam’s deep and sexy voice rang in Lumma’s ears, his tall body sat next to

He was very close to her, about two fists apart. She could smell the faint woody fragrance on his body. Lumma’s
body tensed slightly, and she subconsciously moved away from him.
Adam noticed her small behavior and thought that she still smiled at others after she was threatened. He felt a little
unhappy. “Do you have anything to tell me?”
Lumma had, but she dare not tell him…
She still remembered that on the way back, the man named Jacob threatened her, “Ms. Louis, before telling Mr.
Hills about Mrs. Hills has talked to you, think about your grandma who is far away in Soothy City. You are protected,
but your grandma is not.”
Lumma shook her head and put on the high heels that were placed on the ground. “Mr. Hills, I am going to see if
the guests are enjoying themselves.”
Lumma got up to leave but was stopped by Adam’s saying, “I’m sorry.” Lumina
Lumma turned her head abruptly. Their gazes collided in the air…
He pinched the cigarette butt and said in a deep voice, “I’m sorry about what happened today, but I’ve already
dealt with it. She won’t make trouble for you again. You can work
with relief.
The fear and bewilderment suppressed in Lamma’s heart were shattered by Adam’s
words.
Her nose was sore, and her eyes swelled. She almost shed tears, but she blinked quickly
to hold back the tears.
Her eyes and the tip of her nose were red, but she stubbornly refused to cry in front of
him.
Adam thought to himself that if he were her husband, he would hold her tightly in his arms and tell her that there
was nothing to be afraid of with him by her side.
But he was just her boss, just her boss, and he would have never been qualified to hug
her in his arms.
“Thank you!” Lumma quickly concealed her emotions and thanked Adam.
Hearing her lighter tone, Adam felt much happier. He subconsciously stretched out his hand again, wanting to rub
the bun on her head.
Once again, when he was about to touch it, he forcibly stopped his disrespectful behavior that he shouldn’t have.

take you back.”
“I suddenly want to play now.” The fear and anxiety suppressed in her heart disappeared, so Lumma’s depressed
mood became better. “Mr. Hills, have you ever played a murder mystery game?”
“No, I haven’t played it, but I can have a try.” He seemed to have forgotten that he said
he was not interested.
Together, they found the crowd who were playing a murder mystery game. They were all Adam’s acquaintances,
the brother and sister of the Hawes family, Judy, Simon, and
some descendants from wealthy families that Lumma couldn’t name.
Hearing that they were going to join them, except for the brother and sister of the Hawes family, everyone else was
very happy, especially Simon. “Judy said you wouldn’t join us, and I thought you wouldn’t come. Thus, I have been
disappointed for a long time.”
Judy interrupted, “You were the happiest to make fun of it just now.”
Simon was speechless.
The murder mystery game was proposed by the staff of the event planning company. Lumma knew that it was
popular among young people at gatherings, so she agreed.
