Leonard swallowed nervously and said, “Lumma, I’ve had dinner, so I don’t want to have any soup.
Mr. Hills, enjoy yourself. I’m going upstairs to have a rest.”

Adam didn’t eat much, especially for dinner. Besides, he had a stomachache, so Lumma was
worried he might eat too much. “Mr. Hills, don’t eat too much at night.”
Adam was full, but he didn’t want to waste the soup Lumma made. “I’m not a kid.”
Lumma was speechless.
Adam was always unreasonable because he was the boss, and Lumma had to obey him.
After finishing the soup, Lumma was about to put away the dishes and wash them. Adam stopped Lumma and took
the dishes. “I’ll do the dishes.”
Lumma couldn’t believe that. “Mr. Hills, did you say you would do the dishes?”
“You cook and I wash the dishes. It seems to be fair.” Adam said.
Adam’s parents didn’t have a good relationship. He had never lived with them, nor had he had the chance to see
how other couples got along with each other. Adam just thought that he couldn’t let Lumma do everything.
