"Huh?" The blonde haired instructor beside him was quite surprised at his choice.
It was very rare to see an Elementalist choose a close range weapon over a long ranged one.
Since Elementalist's strength and power relied on their spells, which needed a few seconds to be cast—especially for those in the lower stages, a long-range weapon definitely seemed like the best option for them.
Harry nodded his head slightly when he heard the man's words.
His eyes flickered strangely as he stared at the tabs floating across his eyes.

Compared the the stats of the other weapons, this one was actually a lot higher.
The power and defence of the swords and spears he used [Probe] on didn't even exceed the "100-mark".
The instructor didn't make any more comments, and simply arranged the silver daggers in its pouch for the student.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThough he was silent, he was inwardly impressed with Harry's choice… or rather luck.
The blades were actually of a higher quality than the rest of the weapons in the room, so it was quite surprising that Harry picked it.
As for Harry, he was rather satisfied with his choice.
He wasn't really an expert in weapons and even though he had learnt a lot of things about combat in the element halls, most of them were related to spells and elemental mana.
Apart from the wonderful stats of the silver pair of daggers, it was also light and wouldn't affect his movements too much.
A sword or a spear would be too complicated and difficult to use and could even end up giving him injuries if he wasn't careful—At least that was case for someone like him who wasn't exactly a weapon expert.
He could easily attack with it while also activating any of his "speed-boost" skills, without having to stress himself too much.
Some minutes later, Harry started the journey to the beast forest.
His clothes were rather casual with a simple blue shirt and black trousers.
During the last few minutes, he had been busy getting everything he might need in the beast forest.
Even though he didn't plan on staying there for days, he still stored things like food, water and even a few more clothes in his storage device, just in case.
He knew the beast forest was no child's play so he didn't take it with levity.
Due to the large amount of things he had to prepare for today, he was forced to get another storage device as the former storage space was too small to contain all he needed.
The new one he got was smaller in size—just like a button, but also larger in storage space.
Although it weighed down on his budget a little, Harry didn't too much about it; he was sure he would make even more money from this adventure.
He had already placed the daggers in the storage device because he didn't want to look like some sort of weirdo.
The forest was located at the western part of Vernil, it was at the edge of the city and served as the border that divided Vernil from its neighboring city, Rittah.
Unlike the other times, he couldn't board a taxi as he doubted he would even find one.
He went to the nearest train station and boarded a train that went to his destination.
After sitting himself down, Harry turned his attention to the window beside him, ignoring his surroundings.
The train was very long and hovered slightly above the ground, making it seem like it was traveling on air.
The railings were quite smooth and a pale blue light reflected from the bottom of the train.
Its speed was no joke; it shot forward with great speed making its figure seem like a blur.
Even Harry wasn't able to catch a single thing going on outside the train, everything just looked like blurry lines.
It only took a few seconds before the train got to its station.
Harry nonchalantly climbed down from the vehicle, after walking for a few seconds, he came to the front of a huge fence almost as high as that of the academy.
A slight smile appeared on his face as he slowly walked forward, towards the tall black at the middle.
Standing in front of the gate were two men; one of them had thick black hair and a bulky figure, while the other was lanky with light blonde hair.
A few other guards were scattered around the fence, but only those two approached Harry.
Harry already knew what to do when he got to the gate so he didn't dare to overstep.
From their auras and the amount of mana that oozed from their bodies, it was obvious that their mana core was at least at the fourth stage.
He showed them his 'pass' and they scanned it before nodding their heads in affirmation.
They then gave him a watch with a small button on top which he was to press whenever his life was in danger or he came across something he couldn't handle.
Harry wasn't surprised by this as it was something he had expected.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmSince some of the people that went into the beast forest were young students, they couldn't just abandon them—the watch was only given to a academy students.
The watch served as an extra layer of safety, the moment he pressed the button, someone would immediately come to rescue them.
The moment Harry walked through the gate, he couldn't help but pause his steps. It felt as if he had entered a different city altogether.
A space filled with lush green grass came into his view. It wasn't too big, neither was it too small.
His expectations was that he would directly come across a set of huge trees—basically a thick forest, however, contrary to his thoughts, everything was actually well organized and co-ordinated.
At the sides were a few stalls and shops where one could trade different kind of things ranging from beast cores, weapons, down to food.
There were also some tall "cell towers" around the place, however unlike normal network towers, they only monitored the mana fluctuations in the area.
Different kinds of people were littered around the place with most engaging in trades.
The way the place was buzzing made it look like some sort of business hub and not a forest where mana beasts roamed.
Most of the people in the stalls were stage two Elementalists with a few even being at the third mana core stage.
It was expected since they weren't students but fully grown adults. They already got their license from the AMO so they were free to trade here.
A lot of people who went for beast hunts would definitely need their services, so they made a lot of profit also.
From where he stood, he could see the outline of a forest some meters away.
The forest was quite far from the "hub" and due to the tall and thick trees, it wasn't too difficult to sight.
As he walked, he kept glancing at the sides, his eyes taking in everthing he saw.
A few of them called out to him, in a bid to advertise their goods, however, he ignored them since he wasn't ready to make any trades.
After waking for sometime, he finally reached the beast forest itself.
He brought out the pair of silver daggers from his storage device and then sighed as he took his first step into the forest.
