With that, Fitz bent low and hurried toward the hill where Shawn and Sasha were hiding. Their enemies fired
bullets at him simultaneously.
"Don't worry, Boss. | won't let anything happen to Mrs. Larson, even if it costsmy life."
Shawn patted the man's shoulder. "I know. Be careful."
"Rest assured, Mrs. Larson. You're safe with us."
Surprisingly, not only did Sasha not panic, but she also calmly reminded Shawn to be careful.
Shawn nodded, taking the pistol handed to him by Fitz.
"Evander, you and | will lead the way. Be cautious of the ambush ahead. There are probably more than a
hundred people."
"Roger that!"
His subordinates responded. Kasen and a few snipers took the lead in firing, taking down a few of the enemy
gunmen. Then, Kasen swiftly jumped down from the branch. Before he landed, the tree he had been on was

He bent double, swiftly moving to another location. As soon as he sniped another enemy in the new location, he
switched positions again. The other snipers followed suit. They relocated right after taking down an enemy,
frustrating their well-prepared enemies despite the ambush.
If they had enough ammunition and the enemy had no reinforcements, Kasen and the snipers were more than
capable of eliminating the enemies. However, it was wishful thinking.
After Kasen took down another person, he realized that his magazine was nearly empty.
"Shawn, we're running low on ammo."
"All right! Let's break through on my mark."
Kasen and his men had already taken down a considerable number of enemies, and the snipers were diverting
