Chapter 2761 Sitting In The Vip Section
The onlookers were filled with envy upon hearing Lilia's words.
Many of them had to spend a significant amount of money to obtain an invitation, while Matthew not only
received an exclusively made invitation from Gadel but was also personally escorted by Lilia. The difference in
treatment was astonishing.
Naturally, many people beccurious about Matthew's identity and how he could receive such special
treatment.
"The banquet is about to start. Mr. Larson, shall | show you to your seat in the VIP area?"
Matthew nodded in response and prepared to leave with Lilia.
"Hey, why are you just standing there? Calong."

Eleanor hadn't reacted to this sudden turn of events until Matthew nudged her, and only then did she cto
her senses.
"Can | cwith you? | mean, I'm..."
"What about you? Aren't we acquainted? Con, I'll let you bask in my glory for a few days!"
"Well, aren't you self-important?" Eleanor rolled her eyes and made a sarcastic comment before quickly tagging
along. However, as she looked at Matthew's back, her eyes were filled with curiosity and a hint o compromise.
As for Lilia, she had only taken a few steps before suddenly stopping. "Oh, Miss Mara, | forgot to tell you
something. That unattractive signature was His Highness', and | think it's a very stylish signature!" Lilia delivered
another blow to Mara, further devastating her. She had offended Prince Gadel completely with her foolish acts.
Even if her husband had a close working relationship with the prince, he wouldn't be able to protect her. Insulting
a member of the royal family in front of a large audience was a one-way ticket to disaster.
"I told you, this woman is definitely doomed, and none of you believed me!"
"That woman is indeed quite audacious. Just when | thought | had seen it all. Do you guys think her husband will
have the urge to strangle her when he finds out about this?"
A small group of people who had arrived early had witnessed Matthew's status in Peterburg. They had already
anticipated the current situation, but no one had warned them.
As for the wealthy businessmen in the rubber industry, their minds were already buzzing with ideas. As the
saying goes, 'when a whale falls, all thrive." If Mara's husband were to lose his power, it would be their chance to
succeed!
Among the crowd, a petite guest quietly squatted down and picked up the torn invitation letter from the ground
while no one was paying attention. Immediately, he rushed out of the crowd, and those who had noticed his
unusual behavior quickly and discreetly followed him.
Meanwhile, Matthew had already accompanied Lilia to their exclusive VIP banquet seat.
"Matthew, what have you done to receive such special treatment? Why do they value you so much?" Eleanor
curiously leaned in and asked, knowing that having a prince personally create an invitation letter carried
significant weight.
Matthew rubbed his nose and replied, "Maybe it's because I'm handsome."
"Huh! You don't have to say anything if you don't want to reveal it. You're as annoying as ever," Eleanor said.
Although she admitted that Matthew was indeed handsome, she knew that Prince Gadel's interest in him was not
solely based on his looks.
"Alright, | won't tease you anymore. I'll confess," Matthew said with a mysterious smile when Eleanor looked at
him expectantly again. "It's because I'm simply outstanding!"
Eleanor gritted her teeth in annoyance in response. If they weren't at the prince's banquet, she would have
splashed a glass of water on Matthew's face.
Just as the two were discussing, two graceful figures suddenly approached from behind. "Excuse me, sir, is this
seat taken?"
Matthew turned around and casually replied, "No, go ahead!"
After receiving the answer, the two women elegantly sat down beside Matthew, smoothing their elegant evening
gowns.
