As the cool breeze caressed his skin, he muttered to himself

"I am no god to show you mercy." Though the wind brought a refreshing respite, his countenance remained unfeeling, devoid of any compassion.

"hey, wake up," she shrugged his shoulder,

Slowly, Vincent opened his eyes, his gaze unfocused as he struggled to shake off the lingering remnants of his dream. The memories were still vivid, but as always, they faded quickly upon waking, leaving him with a sense of confusion and disorientation.

He rubbed his eyes as he sat up, groggily taking in his surroundings. He turned to Debbie, who was sitting beside him, and asked,

"How long was I out?"

"About an hour," she replied, a look of concern etched on her face.

"Did you have another one of those dreams?"she asked, his tone filled with curiosity.

"I don't remember much,Just fragments, like always." he admitted.

"Don't force yourself," Debbie reassured him, her hand resting gently on his shoulder.

"You're right , I think I've slept long enough," he stood up and stretched his legs.

With a sense of resignation, he pushed the thoughts of his dreams aside and focused on the present moment.

"It's time for us to get moving." he offered his hand to Debbie.

Vincent was relieved that he could move his body again, even if a full werewolf transformation was out of the question because he had already exhausted his energy.

The duo continued to walk through the forest, the only sounds around them the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant hooting of an owl.

Despite the peacefulness of the surroundings, she couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. It was still early in the morning, around 2:00am, and the darkness seemed to press in around them

Debbie tightened his grip on Vincent's hand, drawing comfort from his presence. She couldn't shake the feeling that they were being followed. She was still thinking about that vengeful Dryad .

Vincent seemed to sense her unease, so he squeezed her hand reassuringly.

"I'm here , you don't have to worry " he smiled.

She nodded, trusting in Vincent's ability.

After what felt like an eternity, they finally caught sight of their destination. It was a massive three-story gothic house, standing tall and imposing in the middle of nowhere.

The trees around the house were twisted and gnarled, their branches reaching out like skeletal fingers to clutch at the sky. The air was thick with an eerie silence, broken only by the occasional creak of a branch or the rustling of leaves in the wind.

The house itself was a menacing sight to behold. Its dark stone walls towered high, casting deep shadows that seemed to stretch out and swallow everything in their path. The windows were small and barred, giving the impression of a place that was meant to keep people out, rather than invite them in.

"Is this where your aunt lives?" Vincent asked, his eyes scanning the eerie surroundings. The negative vibes of the house was really strong, and the place looked like something straight out of a haunted house movie.

"I told you, my aunt is a very traditional witch. What did you expect?" she said, her voice tinged with resignation.

"Did you expect my aunt to live in a lavish cottage house, complete with solar panels and internet connections?" she giggled, a smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth.

Vincent opened his mouth to retort, but the words caught in his throat. He knew that Debbie was right, and he couldn't deny that he had let his expectations get the best of him.He had imagined her aunt living in a cozy and modern cottage, not a creepy and ancient gothic house.

"Let's go. I'm sure my aunt already sense us " she held his hands and urge him to follow her.

As they stepped closer, he could see the intricate carvings adorning the doors and windows, each one seemingly telling a story of its own. The faces etched into the stone were twisted and grotesque, their expressions filled with malice and despair.

Are you sure your aunt won't cook us for dinner?" he joked, trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere that surrounded them.

"You read too many children's stories," Debbie rolled her eyes at his attempt at humor.

"But don't witches eat kids?" he asked, his voice filled with apprehension.

"I...."

Debbie's sudden pause caught his attention, and he looked at her with suspicion.

"What is it?" he asked, concern etched on his face.

She hesitated for a moment before speaking.

"I... let's just knock on the door," she said, trying to change the subject.

She raised her hand and knocked three times on the door, her knuckles echoing in the silent night

As they waited for someone to answer the door, he couldn't help but imagine what kind of woman Debbie's aunt would be. Would she be as spooky-looking as the house, with a hooked nose and warts all over her face?

But His thoughts were interrupted as the door creaked open, and Vincent's jaw dropped as he saw the woman standing before them.

She was stunning, with the same rich skin tone as Debbie, but her beauty was on a whole different level. She had curves in all the right places and could easily pass as a supermodel. Her see-through black nightgown left little to the imagination, and Vincent couldn't help but feel his heart racing

"Aunt Celeste!" Debbie exclaimed as she hugged her aunt into a tight embrace.

"It's so good to see you. And who is this handsome young man you've brought with you?" Celeste sized him up with a seductive smile.

"My....name.... My name is Vincent " He felt his face flush as he stuttered out a greeting, completely taken aback by the woman's striking beauty. This was definitely not what he was expecting .

"Are all witches this hot?" He muttered to himself. He tried to shake the thought from his head, feeling slightly embarrassed for thinking such a thing.

However, it was hard to deny the allure of the woman in front of him, who was not only beautiful but had an air of mystery and power around her.

"Come in, come in," Celeste said, ushering them inside.
