First Love 75
Chapter 75
The next morning, Angela arrived at the office in a great mood. She couldn't wait to share the exciting news with
Division One of the Design Department.
"In three days, we'll be heading to Bamford Co. to attend their industry training event. Let's go see for ourselves
what it is that makes the event so special.”
With just a few words, the room went silent as everyone processed the news in disbelief.
Within minutes, the announcement spread throughout the design department, and soon, even other
departments in the company caught wind of it.
Callum also heard about the news and called Angela into his office to confirm the details.
Upon discovering that Angela had secured the opportunity through Fiona, Callum couldn't help but shake his
head with a wry smile.
“Attending such a prestigious event is great news, but could you perhaps take a few from Division Two along as
well, Ms. Graham? Otherwise, I'm afraid it might stir up stension within the team.”
Since Callum had now brought up the issue, Angela naturally didn't hesitate. She passed along the request to
Stephen.
Stephen, on the other hand, hesitated briefly, before finally sending her the list of attendees. As expected,

Angela couldn't help but feel a hint of frustration.
On the day of Bamford Co.'s industry training event, Callum arranged for a few cars to transport the group of 30

By the tthey arrived, many of the other companies that were invited to attend the event had also arrived.
There were several security guards stationed outside the main entrance of Bamford Co., managing the crowd
and directing people to present their tickets before they entered.
"Admission tickets?" Angela was taken aback as Fiona hadn't mentioned anything about admission tickets.
“Ma'am, I'm sorry, but without a valid ticket, you can't enter," one of the security guards said politely but firmly.
The group began to grow uneasy.
Clara leaned in and whispered, "What's going on? Didn't you get the tickets?"

She had assumed Angela would hand them out as they arrived.
Angela quickly called Fiona.
"What's going on? Could it be that they weren't invited in the first place?"
"That's so embarrassing!"
"The nerve of them! Bamford Co.'s industry training event isn't just open to anyone off the street..."
Murmurs began to erupt in the crowd.
Nora took this as an opportunity to confront Angela.
She walked up to her and asked sarcastically, “Ms. Graham, are you sure you even got permission to attend this
event? It's one thing to embarrass yourself, but dragging everyone else into this humiliation with you-isn't that a
bit too much?"
In truth, Nora had found out from Elena that Dexter hadn't agreed to Angela's
participation. Therefore, she was eager to see how Angela would handle the situation today.
Angela continued to make her call, completely ignoring Nora.
“Drop the act, Angela. You're just humiliating yourself further.” Nora sneered. She pulled those from Division Two
aside and made a quick call to Elena.
Within just a minute or two, Elena stepped out of the building. She was dressed in a sleek business attire, and
her makeup was done perfectly. She immediately drew the attention of everyone around her.
"Ms. Graham, what brings you here? Did Dexter finally agree to give you the tickets?" Though her words seemed
courteous, they were actually a veiled way of exposing Angela.
Nora sneered, her eyes gleaming with mockery. "I doubt that. She probably thought her looks could get everyone
in, but it turns out she really overestimated herself."
"Don't be too harsh. I'm sure Ms. Graham has a way," Elena replied with a frown as she turned to Nora. Her voice

At that moment, Angela finally received a text from Fiona. “I'm busy.”
Nora was quick to notice.

"Oh, just because you couldn't get your way in with Mr. Bamford, you've turned to bother Madam Fiona now?
How shameless!" Nora was practically reveling in the moment. She raised her voice, hoping that everyone could
hear her.
It was no secret that Fiona didn't like Angela. Therefore, the fact that still trying to get on her good side was
nothing short of embarrassing.

“Alright, let's head inside,” Elena said, pulling Nora by the arm and nodding briefly to the others.
She then turned to Angela and said, “I'm sorry, Ms. Graham. | only have about ten tickets left. I'll take them
inside first. I'll try to ask Dexter if there are any more spots available later."
