Chapter 398 Mia frowned and said, "But... But what if it wasn't them? Forget it. You're right-it has to be them." Angela let out a deep sigh. "Right now, I'm just worried that they might move Leo somewhere else without even telling Zayn. They might even act like nothing ever happened." Mia's legs gave out, and she nearly collapsed to the ground.
"Don't panic. I'll ask Dexter for help. We'll monitor all the train stations and airports in Eldmere. There's no way they'll get past us!" Angela said.
Without wasting a second, she called Dexter.

To their surprise, their plan proved effective in about an hour. They intercepted Leo and the men who had taken him at Eldmere Airport.
Angela and Mia rushed over as fast as they could. When they arrived at the VIP lounge, they saw Leo along with two seemingly harmless maids.
"Leo... Oh, my Leo..." Mia was already in tears. She held Leo like he was the most precious treasure in the entire world.
Angela finally breathed a sigh of relief. Only then did she realize how weak her legs were. She'd been so anxious that she hadn't even noticed.
"What were you so afraid of? I've never seen you like this before," Dexter teased. "You wouldn't understand." Angela took a deep breath and wiped the cold sweat from her forehead. She elaborated, "Leo is my godson. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll have to rely on him to take care ofin my old age. How could I not be worried?" "You're acting like you won't have kids of your own. Let Mia have her boy all to herself." Dexter gave her a casual glance, though his eyes carried a hint of complexity.
Angela waved a hand dismissively and plopped down onto a couch. "I can't. My body's too damaged. Even after I did my best to recover, all five managed to do is ease my menstrual pain a little. Having kids is out of the question." She didn't see it as much of a loss. After all, she'd witnessed firsthand everything Mia had gone through before and after childbirth. Angela felt as if she'd lived through the agony of labor alongside Mia.
Giving birth was something only truly extraordinary women could do. Angela knew she wasn't one of them. She feared pain-and death even more.

"What are you worrying about? There are plenty of women who'd be happy to have your kids. One day, you'll have a house full of children," Angela said, patting his shoulder.
She then added, "But seriously, thank you. You've helpedout again. I don't even know how to properly thank you." Dexter lowered his head with a bitter smile. He thought, "If you really want to thank me, why not respond to my feelings just a little?" "Don't worry. I'll take good care of the subsidiary. I won't let you down," Angela said when she noticed his silence.
She had a vague sense of what was going through his mind, but there om was nothing she could do about it. The best she could offer was to make sure he had one less thing to worry about.
"Then I'll thank you in advance," Dexter said, finally raising, kis Read. His gaze was s dark and unreadable.
The sunlight streaming in from the window bathed Angela in a golden glow, making it seem as if she were wrapped in light. But in reality, one of them stood in the light, and the other remained in the shadows. "Mia, say your goodbyes to Leo. We need to leave now," Angela said, rising to her feet. "We have to get him out of here before the Jewell family realizes what happened." Mia wiped her tears and nodded. Her eyes were filled with sorrow and helplessness. Why was it that other children were born into warm, loving families, while Leo had no choice but to be separated from her?
