Chapter 169 Stop DisturbingRonald's expression grew pensive as the banquet's atmosphere turned tense with the buzz of online speculation Opting for a measured approach, he reached out to Joseph via phone, asking, "How are things with Andy? Is he officially part of our team now?" "I've been trying to get through to him for days with no luck, but I did manage to have a word with Andy's dad. He's given his word, and it looks like Andy's set to join our Luster Corporation, Joseph relayed.
Ronald, concerned, pressed further, "So why can't we get a hold of him?" "According to his father, Andy's likely lost in his work. He's known to be a lone wolf, focused on his craft, and doesn't like interruptions. It looks like we might have to wait a bit longer to finalize everything." Joseph shared, his tone reflecting a mix of frustration and resignation.
Despite their repeated efforts to reach Andy and his assistant recently, they hit a wall every time.
Yet, Vernon Farrow's confirmation provided a glimmer of hope.
"And the Adams? Any word from them?" Ronald asked, seeking more information.
Joseph softly shared, "Nothing from the Adams so far, and no talk of a lawsuit against Vanessa, but Phillip is sharp and doesn't like us doing well. It's pretty likely he'll try to do something about it." Having briefed Joseph, Ronald stepped back onto the stage and confidently addressed the gathering through the microphone.
"To tackle the main question, Andy hasn't officially joined Luster Corporation yet. He's keen to work with us, but the contract hasn't been signed due to his packed schedule.
"However, I want to assure everyone that Mr. Andy Farrow's commitment to partnering with Luster Corporation is solid, and that's something I stand behind," Ronald clarified, easing sof the concerns floating around.
Below the stage, Phillip could not help but wear a sly grin, announcing, "Ronald, it seems you're set for a letdown this taround. Andy has already pledged his allegiance to the Adam Group and is on board to spearhead our new line next year, including high-end custom jewelry pieces." Phillip's bombshell had the audience buzzing with surprise and speculation.

With the Camerons now openly challenging the Adams for their turf, sparks are bound to fly." "Though, the Camerons might be biting off more than they can chew. They don't seem as seasoned, especially when squared against the Adams." Ronald managed to keep his composure tight, but his face nearly gave him away as he looked towards Phillip and asked, "Philip, what exactly are you suggesting here?" 1/3 BUX Chapter 169 Stop Disturbingfrom Andy just yesterday. Mr. Farrow has committed to working with the Adam Group, aiming to fulfill his ambitions." "No way!" Ronald replied with a hint of ice in his voice.
Yet, inside, he was already partly convinced.
He knew Phillip well enough to understand that he was not one to make claims without backing. Phillip's confidence in his assertion suggested he was quite certain of his facts.
Ronald remembered Vernon's debt of gratitude to the Pierces and clung to a sliver of hope.
Phillip continued with a smile, "This isn't meant to provoke. It's about recognizing and valuing talent. Perhaps a direct chat with Andy could clear up any confusion." Joseph, looking slightly concerned, added, "Andy's been really immersed in his work of late; it might be difficult for you to get through to him." Phillip, unruffled, turned to Ericko with a query.
Then, in a surprising move, Ericko projected his phone screen onto the main display of the banquet hall and dialed Andy for a video call.
The call rang for a bit without an answer, leading Joseph to wear a smirk of vindication.
"See, Andy's swamped with his work and is deeply engrossed in meeting his deadlines. How could he have possibly committed to the Adams....
His words hung in the air unfinished as, unexpectedly, Andy picked up the call.
The young man appearing on the video call looked to be in his early twenties, sporting a slightly chubby face framed by untidy hair, giving off the impression that he'd been unexpectedly woken up and was not pleased about it.
Maggie found herself intrigued, taking a closer look at Andy, the designer in question, noting his rather unconventional demeanor for the call.
Despite the close-up and his less-than-ideal mood, Andy's features had a certain charm.
"What do you want?" Andy asked, looking seriously into the camera, the shadows under his eyes betraying his fatigue.
"Hi, Andy, this is Joseph, the Vice President of Luster Corporation. We've had discussions with both you and your father. Luster Corportion is keenly interested in bringing you on board. How do you feel about that?" Joseph initiated the conversation.
Ericko and Phillip remained silent, giving the floor to Joseph and Andy.
Andy's brow furrowed as he jogged his memory. Finally, he recalled.
"I never agreed to join Luster Corporation. If my dad owes the Pierces and you're calling in that favor, that's between you and him. If you're interested in design, have him draw for you. As long as you're brave enough to use it, go ahead." Andy's response was sharp and to the point.
Joseph was momentarily taken aback, his expression souring. "But we had discussed this previously....

Besides, I wasn't because it didntre sed before! 't really matter towhere I went. But now, I'm with the Adam Group. Please, stop disturbing me." And with that, Andy ended the call abruptly, leaving no room for a rebuttal.
At that moment, the expressions on Joseph, Ronald, and the rest of the Camerons' faces turned notably somber.
Though the situation with Shawn had been a significant blow, it had stayed under wraps, preserving the Camerons dignity.
However, Andy's forthright dismissal felt like a public rebuke, leaving the Camerons feeling exposed and humiliated Ronald struggled to maintain his composure, his dissatisfaction apparent for all to see.
"It looks like Andy isn't destined to be part of the Camerons, a sacrifice courtesy rtesy of you, Ronald? Phillip m quipped, his observant gaze picking up on the underlying friction between the two families. The forced smile on Ronald's face dimmed, and contrary to expectations, he chose not to smooth things over or maintain a facade.
Maggie had always respected Ronald's leadership within the family; he demonstrated adaptability yet adhered to certain principles.
"What are you implying. Phillip? Aside from the issue with Andy, there's talk m that the Adams are accusing the sare Gameron's of plagiarism. What's the intention behind this? Are the Adams here not to partake in the Camerons joy but to openly confront us?" Ronald's pointed question cut through the tension, boldly confronting the Adams for clarification in the presence of the gathered crowd.
