As I fell into the vast vacuum of space, silence swallowed everything. The stars aroundwere nothing but cold witnesses to the chaos I was about to unleash. I coated my body in Ki, merging it with my vampiric aura until the two forces fused into a dense, shimmering shield. The pressure of the void pressed against me, seeking to rip flesh from bone, but the Ki–infused–aura kept it at bay.

Far ahead, the human mothership loomed, it's giant thrusters glowing. I watched it turning away, its engines flaring as it tried to retreat. Cowards. They thought they could escapeafter what they'd done.

I clenched my fists and propelled myself forward. The surge of Ki exploded beneath my feet like a miniature nova, sendinghurtling through the emptiness at blinding speed. The hull of the mothership drew closer, its layered energy barriers flickering as I neared. I could sense the fear of the humans inside, their desperate mana signatures pulsing wildly.

With a roar that echoed only within my chest, I rammed straight into the barrier. It shattered on contact, fracturing like glass beneath my fists. My body ripped through the steel plating next, tearing into the ship's hull as if it were made of tofu. The vibrations of impact coursed through me, but my blood was boiling, my aura burning brighter with every second.

Explosions followedas I burst through compartments, soldiers, machines, and walls all shredded by raw force. I shot out the other side of the ship, twisting mid-space and crashing back into it again. Each strike tore deeper, ripping into the mother ship's very core. I could feel its reactor pulsing.

"Let's end this," I muttered, coating my arms in condensed crimson Ki.

With one final charge, I slammed my fist through the ship's central axis. The entire structure convulsed. A deafening explosion of mana and steel erupted behindas I propelled myself away, using the blast's shockwave to drift through the void.

In seconds, the massive mothership was engulfed in flames, its fleets following soon after. The explosion birthed a sun of its own, a violent star made from human ambition and failure. I hovered there, watching it burn, until the light dimmed into scattered debris. Only then did I close my eyes, coating myself once more in Ki, and drifted away from the space junk.

Using Astra-Walk, I sliced through the layers of reality. Space itself folded beneath my will, and with a flicker, I tore through the vacuum. Each step cuts through space, the void bending as I traced my way back to the elves' position.

When I emerged from the rift, the air was heavy with the aftermath of battle. The twin elven commanders stood amidst their fleets, their faces pale and eyes wide as they looked at me. The ruins of the human armada still burned in the distance, a spectacle they knew only I could have caused.

"You… you destroyed the mothership," the dark elf commander stammered, his voice trembling.

The high elf commander beside him looked just as shaken, his lips parting but no words escaping. They both exchanged glances, then suddenly went down on one knee each, their heads bowed.

"Thank you," the dark elf said, his tone filled with awe. "For helping us eliminate our foes. I… I never believed one being could single-handedly take down a mothership. Not even the strongest elf could have done that."

I crossed my arms, giving them a small smirk. "It's nothing," I said. "You'll get there someday."

The high elf commander chuckled, disbelief mixing with humility. "You're taunting us. Even in ten thousand years, no elf could wield that kind of power."

I shook my head. "You lack conviction," I told them quietly. "Power bows to those who believe it must."

They exchanged glances again, muttering something under their breath in Elvish, a tongue I couldn't fully decipher even though I could speak a lot of languages. It carried reverence… and a trace of fear.

"Order your fleets to return to the planet," I said finally, turning away. "The humans are finished and I am sure they will be cautious now. There's no need for more bloodshed."

"Yes, my lord," they both replied in unison.

The fleets reassembled and began their return to the elven planet. As our ships broke through the atmosphere of the planet, we were met by an overwhelming sight, a vast multitude of elves awaiting our arrival. The landing grounds were filled with nobles, soldiers, and civilians, their banners fluttering beneath. At the forefront stood two figures of striking contrast, the Queens of the Dark Elves and the High Elves.

Myra, my wife, was the first to step forward. Her black silk gown shimmered under the moonlight, her eyes fixed onwith a complex blend of affection and restraint. She smiled softly, bowing her head with grace.

"We deeply appreciate your help in defeating the humans," she said, her voice calm, formal, yet I could hear the subtle tremor beneath it.

I returned her bow, hiding my own smirk. "It's nothing, Your Majesty. I merely did what had to be done."

She held my gaze for a moment longer than necessary before stepping back. We both kept the act alive. After all, right now I was wearing another face, one that couldn't be recognized as her husband.

Then my eyes fell on the second Queen, and for a moment, I froze.

She was beautiful, eerily familiar. Dazzling green eyes, blonde hair flowing down to her shoulders, and a stature just a little taller than Alice Gunner's. Her presence radiated the elegance and arrogance unique to High Elves.

She gavea slight bow, her tone measured yet sharp. "I deeply appreciate your kindness and support, stranger. Though I must say… you could have left the matter to our army. We were perfectly capable of handling the humans ourselves."

Her words struck like frost. For a second, I thought I'd misheard her. Even Myra's expression hardened, disbelief flickering across her face.

"Is that so?" I asked quietly.

She nodded, maintaining her composure. "Yes. While your efforts are commendable, we elves take pride in our strength. Depending too much on outsiders… can dull the edge of our warriors."

I sensed Myra about to speak, her aura spiking in irritation. But I met her gaze and gave her a small glance, a silent order. Don't. Not here.

Myra pressed her lips together and looked away, her fingers curling into her gown.

I turned back to the High Elf Queen and smiled faintly. "Then I suppose next time, I should let you handle it. I'd hate to dull your edge."

Her eyes flickered, caught between offense and realization. "That wasn't my intent—"

"Of course," I interrupted gently, stepping closer until the faint glow of her aura brushed against mine. "But pride is a dangerous thing, Your Majesty. It makes people think they can touch the stars… without burning."

She held my gaze for a heartbeat too long, her lips parting slightly, before looking away. "Perhaps," she said softly, shocked at my confidence as I'm only a few inches from her face.
