“Nathan, | want to go home,” Victoria said after hanging up the phone, immediately finding Nathan and asking

him to take her home.

Nathan sat on the recliner on the balcony, lazily scrolling through his phone. “Why go back? Don’t you know I've

been really busy lately? My mom needsa lot right now.”

Victoria walked up to Thea, almost kneeling on the ground, resting her head on his lap. She knew how to play the

weak and coquettish role. “Nathan, Thea has returned to the Moore family. | have to go back and check on her. |

Nathan’s hand holding the phone stiffened, and the coldness in his eyes seemed to thaw a little. “Since you're so

worried about her, then go back.”

Victoria gently kissed him on the face and said, “Thank you, husband.”
