Jeffrey’s breath caught in his chest as the image of a heavily pregnant Melanie running for her life

One hour later, they reached the island dock.

been burnt to ashes. The place looked just like doomsday had fallen.

One of the bodyguards from Morgan Group rushed over to report about the situation.

“President, the masked men’s weapons and combat ability were very sophisticated. They have

“The map!” Jeffrey stretched his arm out, and William immediately handed him the map.

He unfolded it, and glanced through it quickly.

probably the abductors‘ boat and not the boat we always use.” Jeffrey’s subordinate said,

their harbor!”

Jeffrey sat in Morgan Group’s boat and soon after, received a call from Nathan.

“Jeffrey Morgan, where are you right now?” Nathan chuckled darkly.

“Did you abduct her?” Jeffrey cut straight to the chase.

“Her?” Nathan feigned ignorance.

Melanie was abducted, and Jeffrey couldn’t remain as calm and composed as he usually was. He said

with panic that he couldn’t suppress, “Don’t think that I’m clueless about an armed force you’ve been

training in secret to do your every bidding! I know the base of the armed force is located right in

Delfino!”

“That’s right.”

To Jeffrey’s surprise, Nathan admitted it.



“I know you have great influence in Delfino. Since you suspect me, you’ll surely stop me at the

sea customs, right?”

“Good that you know. Release them right away!” Jeffrey bellowed.
