Elle got down from her car and smiled when she got to the hidden stage house. She opened the door and walked in, there she
met Blade on his phone, typing furiously.
"Blade..' She called and he immediately sprang up on his feet.
"Boss ma'am.." He called with a light smile.
"Where's he?" She was referring to Langford.
"He's inside.." He pointed to a door and she nodded.
"Hope he is safe and unscathed?" She asked and Blade nodded.
"Trust me boss ma'am ever since you asked me to hurt him, I definitely didn't touch him and he has also been good to us lately. I
don't have any problems with him" Blade said dramatically.
Elle chuckled and then she went to the door, opened it and then walked in.
She met Langford in the room. His eyes were glued to the television and his fists were clenched tightly as he watched the tv.
Elle looked up to the tv and her eyes widened when she saw James shot.
"So this is the plan he was hatching all along.." She thought.
"He wants to gain the sympathy of the people again through this. How sly?" She scoffed and then walked towards Langford.
"Hello mr Mayor.." She greeted with a smile and he turned to look at her.
"When am I getting out of here? I need to get out of here to prove my innocence. James is ruining my reputation and I'm stuck
here!" He yelled and she smiled.
"You just have to spit out the truth and I promise I am going to let you out of here.." She said and he scoffed.
"You know there is something more to tell me.." Elle said and he sighed.
"Why can't you tell me the truth? Are you perhaps afraid James might kill you or do you want to die hiding the truth forever.." Elle
said and he sighed again.
"Tell me the truth if you want to live and save your reputation or else you will be kept in here for the rest of your life.." Elle added.
"You know me and how serious I can get when I want something. I want the truth out of you and I'm going to get it no matter
what so it's just better to tell me the truth.." Elle snapped at him and he sighed, his lips were already trembling and he looked
downwards.
Elle scoffed in anger.
"I see you are not ready to tell me the truth, till we meet again, Mr Mayor.." She said and turned to leave but his voice stopped
her.
"I will tell you the truth.." He suddenly said and she smirked. She immediately faced him.
"Go on.." She urged him.
"Actually Lauren and I were close already before she met James. They actually met because of me and James started cheating
on his wife cause he liked Lauren. Things got messier when his wife suddenly died and at that time, Lauren already gave birth to
Tyson who was just a year younger than Ja..."
"I know all that. Can you cut to the real story and stop beating around the Bush?" She asked him and he sighed out.
"Yeah, actually.." He paused and Elle looked at him curiously.
"The thing is Tyson is not James's son. He is actually Lauren and my son. She only lied to trap James into marrying her.." He
said and Elle's eyes widened.
"Wait, w.. what?" She stuttered.
"Tyson is not James's son. But how?" She paused and ran her hands into her hair.
"No, not until I verify what you are saying. You could just be lying to leave the place for all I know..' She snapped at him and he
sighed..
"You said you wanted the truth and I told you already what happened? What else do you want?' He yelled at her.
"Proof!" She yelled back at him.
"I want proof and when I find the truth, I will let you go, that's a promise.." She said and then walked closer to him, she removed
a strand of his hair and smirked.
"This will be the proof I need.." She said and walked out. Langford groaned immediately she did.
"Why did I tell her the truth?' He asked himself and then his mind went back to James.
"When I get out of here, the first thing I will do is to kill you.." He thought.

"What?' Giselle yelled looking at the three goons in front of her. They were badly injured.
"What do you mean she defeated you all?!" She yelled angrily again.
"We are sorry ma'am but her skills are too great for us. I was very surprised and she also made me lose three of my minions. It's
a great loss for me!" The leader said sadly and Giselle slapped hard across his right cheek.
"You incompetent fools! I gave you one simple job but you failed at it! And you dare show me your face! How are you?" She
yelled angrily.
"Ma'am, I'm so sorry but it would be better that you give us the remaining payment. As you can see, we are badly injured and we
will need the money for treatment.." Another said and Giselle scoffed.
"Shut up! I'm not paying you for anything whether you like it or not, now, get out of here! Now!" She yelled.
"Please ma'am, I beg of you. Please..' The leader said.
"Get out or I'll rat you out to the police.." She yelled and they all went out sadly.
"Danielle Browns beat up all the goons I sent up to finish her. That's.." She paused.
"That bitch! That wicked sly witch. She took my fiancee away from me and I can't even kill her but then how did she manage to
deal with six skilled goons?" She asked herself.
"It's high time I find out who you are!" She said with a wicked look and brought out her phone
