Chapter 59 A changed personality
The next day.
MADISON'S MANSION.
The family sat at the dining table having their breakfast.
"So, Deborah, when will you be going back to the states?" James asked and Deborah sighed.
"I'm not sure now. I don't think I want to go.." She said and James dropped the fork he was holding down.
"What do you mean by that?" He asked.
"Dad, we have good colleges here, right. I want to study here. I don't want to go back to the states..." She groused.
"Young lady, you are going back to the states whether you like it or not. You have to.." James said and resumed eating.
"Dad, Mum, I don't want to go back please. Please just let me study here.." Deborah pleaded.
"No, it's final!" James said.
"Hun, let her stay here for the meantime. At least until when Jason and Giselle get married.." Lauren caught in.
"That's not happening. The kidnapping cases of young girls are alarming these days. What if she becomes a victim? What
happens then huh?" He asked and Lauren kept quiet immediately.
Deborah dropped her spoon and then stood up.
"It's very obvious you don't like me. You are always controlling my life from the start and I hate it. I hate you all and don't worry,
you won't see me here as from today!" She yelled and then ran out immediately.
"Deborah!" Both Lauren and James yelled.
"Come back here!" Lauren shouted and they all ran out.
Tyson scoffed and faced his parents angrily.

"I have always never said anything but do you guys have to be so demanding? This was how you sent Jason away to the states.

Forced him to get married to Giselle. You even tried to force me to become a politician but I didn't want to and now, Deb, don't
ruin her life, please. You both have succeeded in ruining both I and Jason's life. I won't let you do that to my sister!" He said
angrily and then walked away.
Lauren immediately broke down into tears.
"Oh my gosh! Debby, my baby.." She said and James sighed and pulled her up.
"Don't cry.." He hushed her and then hugged her in order to comfort her.

Jason was already getting ready to leave when the door bell rang.
"Who's that?" He asked as he walked to the door. He opened the door and immediately Deborah's crying face came into view.
He gasped immediately he saw her.
"Baby, why are you crying?" He asked and then she hugged him tightly.
"Jason, I don't want to go. I don't want to go back to the states. But Dad and mum.." She paused and then hiccupped.
"They want me to. Can't I stay with you guys?" She asked and he sighed.
"Baby, stop crying now. You are going to run a temperature if you continue to do so. I'll try to convince them to let you stay so
please stop crying.." He said and kissed her hair.
She broke the hug and cleaned her face.
"I'm sorry but can I stay here for today?" She asked with a pout and he nodded.
"Of course baby. I love you.." He said and she nodded.
His phone rang and he took it out of his pocket. He smiled when she saw who was calling.
"Who's that?" Deborah asked him, noticing the broad smile on his lips.
"It's my princess.." He replied and answered the call.

"Hey, Handsome. Good morning.." She said and Jason smiled the more.
"Good morning, princess. How was your night?" He asked and she laughed.

"It was great. Do you know I'm going to be home tutored from today.." Kiera said.
"Wow! That's good. Do you like it?" He asked.
Of course not. I don't want that but mummy doesn't want to understand and that's what I don't understand. First of all, she
doesn't want me to go to a regular school and she doesn't want to take me to her work.." Kiera said and Jason laughed.
"Princess, you don't have to get mad at your mum. She's just doing whatever she thinks is best for you. All mothers act like
that..." He said.
"Really does your mum act like that too?" Kiera asked and Jason went quiet for a while.
"Yea.." He replied.
"My mum did what was best for me regardless of whether I liked it or not.." Jason said and Kiera smiled.
"You must really love your mum.." Kiera said.
"Yeah, I do. I love her a lot.."
"Well, mummy is coming and I have to pretend like I'm studying my spellings. I'll call you later. I love you.." She said and he
grinned.
"I love you too. Take care of yourself princess.." He said and she smiled.
"Love you.." She said again and then hung up. Jason smiled again.
"Who have you been talking to? You have just been smiling since? Is she Elle, the lady from yesterday?" Deborah asked and
Jason scoffed.
"Of course not, that's not her. She's actually a little girl. I've only known her for five days now but she's very sweet. I met in the
airport when I went to pick up Nick and I must say, she makes me feel less burdened. I am always happy whenever I see her.."
He said and Deborah smiled..

"Sometimes I feel like there is a connection between us both like we are father and daughter. I just don't know why but I love her
so much already.." Jason said and Deborah stood up. She walked to him and then hugged him.
"I'm very happy. You have changed so much after I left. You were so grouchy before, you rarely smiled and you hated things
going wrong but now, you are lively.." Deborah said and broke the hug.
"And Jason, you can't lie to him. I know you clearly love Tyson's girlfriend. It's so evident. You really don't know how to hide your
feelings, do you?" She poked his cheek and he smiled. His smile widened when he remembered the intimate moment he shared
with her yesterday.
"
