Lily wasn't hungry; she was still freezing from being outside for too long. She wrapped her coat tighter around her. "Let's eat at my place." "Sure. Terence can cook us something," Maryanne replied. She didn't mind treating her brother as her personal chef.
"Actually, let's just eat out-my treat." When Lily had glanced at the rearview mirror, she'd realized that the Maybach had been tailing them the entire way back. That was why she'd just wanted to head home. However, the thought of Terence cooking dinner for them didn't sit right with her.
Although Maryanne had the right to boss Terence around, Lily didn't feel right asking him to cook for her, especially since he was still a guest.
