Harvey nodded. No wonder Vienna was showing an attitude to that man.

Everything was purely business. There were no friends; only eternal benefits.
Of course, nobody would hesitate to trample on people without any
value.

them on a pedestal without hesitation.
“I’d like a new change of clothes too, but I couldn’t help it.”
Thomas, on the other hand, had no intention to hide anything.
“My company assets were frozen by the government. They said that they wanted to
be in charge. of the garbage-sorting business.”

She quickly took a few steps back to prevent his foul stench from reaching her.
“You’re here, Mandy! It’s only been a few days, but you already look more beautiful
than before.”
Thomas clearly wasn’t here for Vienna in the first place; his face was filled with joy
when he saw Mandy.
“It’s a shame my company’s about to go bankrupt.”
“If not, I would’ve chased you down for the seven hundred and thirty thousand
dollars you lent me
to make ends meet!”
