A dismembered Silvia lay in her blood with her eyes wide before her death.

[Death]

Covering her mouth to muffle a scream. To her dismay, the moment she blinked, she felt a tug at her ankle.

Joslin's surroundings went dark and silence filled her ears.

Opening her eyes, she saw that she had lost her balance and had fallen to the ground.

'Oh no! The first strike!' She thought in a panic, hurriedly getting to her feet.

She couldn't believe what just happened in a matter of seconds.

Pulling off the helmet, her red hair swayed from side to side in the wind, her brown eyes staring straight at Surie.

She wasn't sure what she was doing, but she couldn't help but feel a sense of danger surrounding Surie's silence.

[Gore]

'Huh?!' Hisha wonders at the sound information displayed.

Whipping his head to the possible cause of the death of another opponent. They had been so caught up with Surie that they had forgotten about the rest.

A sword lodged in Macy's chest as she reaches out, "help me..."

Her skin turns gray and she turns to her side covered in blood with a two-fang mark on her neck.

Ine pushes back, her mouth covered in blood with it trailing down her jaw. Her hands tremble at the thought of what she had done.

Her brows furrow as she sees a shadow cast over her and closing in on her.

"What in the-"

Boom!

Althea brought her hand down, with it being a boulder.

It crashed down on top of Ine, crushing her to the ground.

[Death]

There was a collective wince from the crowd watching as they watched her body twitch.

Althea pulls her hand away causing the boulder to disintegrate into dust, her eyes staring at the remains of Ine.

"Weak!" Althea sneers.

Surie fumes as she stares at the dead bodies of the others. She had planned on giving them epic ends, not some swift deaths that made little to no meaning.

Palmyra shakes her head, knowing she could be any of the ladies' next targets.

All that was needed was another strike and thinking of any of the ladies present or the injury that wouldn't stop bleeding, it would be far from being 'out'.

Joslin utilizes the opportunity of Surie's distraction, crawling towards her sword.

Throwing her sword straight into the air, she manipulates its movement as she bonds with the sword.

Shluk!

Thrusting and impaling Palmyra's neck.

The red blade stabs cleanly through the back of her neck, spilling blood.

Pulling out, the blade falls to the ground, casting her out of its hold.

Joslin falls to the ground as she watches blood spurt from Palmyra's neck as she staggers back.

Palmyra's body twitches uncontrollably, convulsing and succumbing to her death.

'It isn't about strikes anymore.' Hisha chuckles with pleasure. It looked more like a battle to the death–as it should be.

[This is how the tournament has been, host]

'Some were weak-willed.' Hisha scoffs, rolling his eyes at the thought.

[Just like you were at the start, right, host?]

Wiping down his face, Hisha forces a smile, looking to his side and at his tribal chiefs.

The look of anticipation, longing for the thrill, and picking out their best reminded him so much of the times he had placed bets on some matches while on earth.

"I choose Surie." Vanas cackles, throwing his hands behind his head with a cocky smile.

Draegul nods his head in agreement with a grunt.

Wae's lips drew into a thin line, unsure of the possibility because of the missing harem member.

Pointing at the floor, he explains something shocking they had not realized.

"Have you all cared to reason where Althea is?"

Mich leans forward, suddenly intrigued by the discovery the majority had missed.

To the others, Althea seems to be one of those dead or dismembered, but the real truth was far from that.

"She's hidden!" Wae laughs, pulling on Aster to get the reason for his suspicion.

With the thought of what had transpired a day ago with Hisha, he had much more things to think of than the ladies at each other's throats.

The book he had reluctantly let go of was of much importance.

If he could get the book and test out his built-up raw carnage, he hopes to get positive results.

Nudging him in the side, Wae makes pouting lips while wiggling his brows to make things a lot worse.

'Fuck you! You consider this as some sort of play, but do you know what this means for us?'

Wae seemed not to care about the glare shot his way, grabbing onto Aster's arm and proceeding to tease. "My my, what big arms you got there!"

"Wae, did you have something strong before coming here?"

Countering immediately, "since when have I ever gotten something stronger than mine?"

Aster grimaced at the double meaning of his words, shaking his head at how lightheaded it was taken.

Rolling his eyes, Aster shoves Wae off his arm, sneering in disgust. "How about you keep your hands to yourself?"

"Tch-"

Wae shook his head, clicking his tongue. "You're no fun, you beast!"

Aster clenched his hands, trying his best to keep his mood in check as he looked over to Hisha.

Leaning back in his chair, he had a mischievous glint in his eyes as he had his steepled fingers and elbows on his thighs.

'This should be fun!'

Surie had a wicked grin on her lips as she made her way toward Joslin, "you must have thought you'd get some points for that."

As she approached her, she raised her arms, "but I'm afraid you just made yourself a bigger target for my tactics. What do you say?"

Joslin looks around, seeing the other ladies dead, but Althea somewhat hiding probably beneath the ground.

'What can I do?' She thinks frantically to herself, pushing back with her hand.

She could feel a tremor from beneath and could tell it had something to do with Althea.

However, she realizes that there is one thing she can try, but it would mean putting her life on the line.

Patting on the floor, she felt a mirrored pat back from Althea underneath.

Switching glances from the floor and Surie's expression, she tries to think of something to say and delay Althea's approach.

[Something isn't right, host!]

Hisha sits upright immediately, also sensing some sort of foul play.

'They are partnering, it's clearly against the rules that I had set!' Hisha punches the armrest in anticipation of the two to reveal their plans.

[It's only a matter of time, host]

"I'll give you the chance to surrender and accept your last strike," Surie smirks, "or else I will take your life."

Joslin grunts in anger as she looks Surie straight in the eye, "fine, but only if you promise me that we die together."

Brrrrrrrmmmmm!!!!

Surie tilts her head, stumbling back as she realizes what Joslin meant.

The ground shook violently causing Surie to fall to the ground as the trembles continued.

With the intense tremors, it was a struggle to get to her feet to run.

"W-what is this?!" She yells out in surprise, keeping her heels grounded and her hands spread out to balance herself.

Springing out of the ground, Althea's fist slams into Surie's stomach.

"Ugh..." Surie grunted as she fell to the ground, crouching and clutching her stomach.

She repeatedly curses at their pain sensitivity heightened, if it weren't for it, she wouldn't have reacted so badly with that weak hit.

'One strike!' Althea thought with a smirk, looking behind her and at Joslin who gave a nod of approval for their next task.

[Warning! Rule dismissed]

Hisha drums his hand on his armrest, antipathy seething off him as he waits it out for it to be more glaring than it already was.

'Just a little more, let them have a sense of accomplishment.'

Kritz was the first to sense something wrong with his lord, feeling he was thinking in the same line as he did.

The rule is being broken and there was no one, even the tribal chiefs speaking on it.
